This is a nice TV stand but I would like to make a point. If you want to sound credible with your reviews try spelling things correctly and using the right form of words. Ways instead of weighs? I mean really people, if you went to grade school you should know the difference.

Purchased this console a week ago. I also bought the back panel that goes with it and two ladder shelves from Hudson. My friend and I put the console together in under an hour and found the instructions to be very easy to understand. I appreciated the extra hardware, too, as we managed to turn a couple of the cams too far and they broke (careful, they are delicate!). We thought the cam system was great, very simple way to connect the pieces. I was fortunate to have my friend with to help assemble it, I think it would've been difficult at times to do it alone (though not impossible). Once assembled, the console looked amazing. I couldn't believe how expensive it looked compared to what I paid for it (got it on sale!). I have a 37" flat screen hdtv on it and I honestly don't see how the piece could bow, it seems very solid. It even came with a 5th leg for extra support. I have only had the console for a week, though, so here's hoping that it doesn't bow. I made sure to center my tv to balance the weight. It looks so lovely with the back panel and the two ladder shelves on either side. My 5-disc dvd player barely fit, but my other 3 components fit just fine. The Hudson furniture really transformed my living room at a very affordable price. I recommend it!

One minor complaint: There are plastic ball-type pieces that hold the glass in the doors securely. If you're close to the console, you can see them and it looks sort of strange. I sit far away enough to not notice them, but figured it was worth mentioning.

This is a very nice piece of furniture. We are completely satisfied with this purchase. It has held up our max weight t.v. very nicely for 9 months with no problems whatsoever. The color is excellent and so is the style. Would definitely recommend!

I bought this piece about 2 years ago and I still like it, though it does scratch quite easily. It holds our very heavy TV with no problem, though the shelves are too shallow for our receiver making it so that we can't put the doors on. I would reccommend measuring before you buy.

I bought this last night and assembled it in less than twenty minutes. Then I stood on it to hang a shelf! It's sturdy, beautiful and easy to put together. The directions were a breeze! Thank you so much for finally putting out a product that is great quality and easy to assemble!

What a bargain! I bought this for a new 42" plasma TV and it's a perfect fit. Components fit easily in the cabinet. It went together pretty easily, even getting the doors on and feels sturdy enough.

I bought this TV Stand at the store on 09/05/07 and it took my boyfriend about an 1 hour and 15 minutes to put it together with no problem, the after product is really nice and it looks sheek in my small one bedroom apartment. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

This media stand began to bend and warp with the weight of my ~100 lb t.v. after only 6 months. It cannot support heavy t.v.s certainly not up to the specifications of 200#s

We had just purchased a new 40" LCD for Christmas and decided that we were also going to change our living room furniture from oak to dark wood. This is the first piece we got and it has inspired us to also get the espresso finish book shelves and the Hudson Collection Console table. For those individuals who have had issues, they truly are unfortunate because for the price you cannot go wrong. We Love Them!!!
