I am disapointed by this item. I bought it for the sole reason that it had the lighting feature. There are many umbrellas out there with comparable prices so the fact that it lights up is what made it special. I recieved mine really quickly, which was super, but I was sad when I went to plug it in and nothing happened. Upon examining the transformer, I saw the problem right away, loose wires. [...] I will update my review when the new one arrives. So, one star for the umbrella, five stars for Targets return team.

At first, I was very happy because the lights on the umbrella worked perfectly, but now 5 months later the lights do NOT work anymore AND the warranty is apparently only 90 days and target,com could not provide me with the manufacturer so I would not recommend you purchase this item. It is NOT sold in the stores.

The aluminum spines on this umbrella are very cheap within two day one bent...and it was put down and covered every night. One month later one of the spines completey broke, very frustrating. It looks pretty when lit up but is not durable by any stretch of the imagination.

Ive had this Umbrella for now almost 5 years! And still holding on strong! I'm so happy they still sell it because i'm ready to buy another one. The color is great , my lights have always worked and even lasted through a crazy storm we had with hail. (forgot to put it away). I have no complaints about it at all. It all works for me :)
