I have always used the Holmes humidifiers for my kid's rooms but my daughter fell in love with Hello Kitty so we tried it. The first night was fine, this morning I went into her room to find that it had leaked all over our hardwood floors and was a mess. It is going back to the store today! Back to the basics with a Holmes humidifier for us!

I bought this Hello Kitty Ultrasonic Humidifier for my daughter. Where we live it is very dry and this winter she started getting nose bleeds at night. In general it seems hard to find humidifiers with good reviews. This humidifier works very well, it is quiet, easy to use, and my daughter loves it. I would recommend this humidifier.

I bought this humidifier because I thought it was cute, but it turned out to be so much more. I love the fact that it's quiet and I absolutely love the night light. I don't use any other source of light in my daughter's room and it works perfectly. If my daughter wakes up in the middle of the night crying, I can just take her over to hello kitty and she will stop crying and start smiling. She loves this thing! I will never have another humidifer in her room. I would suggest anyone buying this humidifer.

I have to admit that I had my doubts about this but I read the reviews and went ahead and bought it. I love it! It is so quiet and the night light is a nice touch! My daughter has terrible sinus problems so I run it on a lower setting every night. When she gets sick I run it on a higher setting and it runs just as quiet. There is no filter to replace so it is inexpensive to run. I recommend it to everyone!

I purchased this item for my babys room. I am very pleased with my purchase the humidifier is very quiet and provides a cool clean mist the entire night. Alhough it doesnt have a filter I have found the cleaning of this product to be very easy. This item would make a great baby shower gift.

I have had this humidifier for about 3 days now and am pleased with it. It is noiseless compared to the stupid Vick's Vaporizer I had. Holy cow that thing was so loud. It would wake me up numerous times within the night, no lie. This thing is silent compared. And! it runs clean, unlike the vaporizer. Maybe vaporizers are supposed to have disgusting dirt inside it after it runs I dunno. And people that say it's loud, they must not have any experience with appliances in the bedroom, cause even my Ionic Breeze makes a bunch of hissing noises all the time, and yes I clean it often.
I did have a problem with Hello Kitty last night though. After I had it on for awhile the red light came on-expected. But when I filled up the tank and turned it on again, it ran, but with the red light still on and no steam. I cleaned EVERYTHING inside, outside, read the manual a few times over. Nothing worked, I was so disapointed. So this morning my boyfriend was looking at it, and just playing around trying to get it to work, and like guys do when all else fails, shook it, and voila!... tons of steam and the green light lol... Go figure.

I got this as a gift! I was happy to recieve it, but when I opened it up I found that the humidifier didn't have a filter I thought that was pretty odd, so I read the directions and come to find out you have to clean this thing out with bleach after 4 uses! So if you use it everyday like me it would be every 4 days cleaning with bleach! Such as hassel for a cute thing! I ended up taking it back!

I purchased the Hello Kitty humidifier about 48hours ago and it has been running WHISPER QUIET for the bulk of the time. There have only been two times the humidifier has gotten loud. When the water moves from the top of humidifier into the water basin it makes a gurgling sound, and when the humidifier is running out of water you can hear the fan. If you are running a close to empty humidifier there is nothing to muffle the sounds of the machine which is to be expected. I LOVE my humidifier and it makes sleeping so much more peaceful.

I purchased the Cow humidifier 2.5 months ago and right from the start it seemed louder than I had expected...I read many reviews before buying. The noice (buzzing, almost rattling sometimes) just kept on getting lowder and tried tilting it a bit, putting a book underneath it/what ever I could think of. Finally today I returned it to my local Target and got the Hello Kitty one. I was hesitant to get another Cow in case they had faulty motors in them.
The Kitty is so quiet and just seems different. I thought that the effect of a cool mist humidifier is great for a baby (8 months old) and wanted to give it a 2nd try...it also keeps my indoor plants happier during Utah winter. So far (a few hours of running) I'm extremely happy with my humidifier! My daughter is napping at the moment and she won't be waken up by the soft sound.

My three old and I love this! It works very well, and is easy to fill and to clean. The glowing nite lite gives a lovely pink purple glow. Hello Kitty is quite funny with vapor coming from her ears. It does make a little noise when water moves from the reserve tank into the main tank, but come on, it's Hello Kitty, it's pink, your kids will love it!
