I experienced nothing but disappointment like a lot of others who purchased "Deal"! Got it for my son for Christmas and has never worked correctly. Constantly froze, scrambled, etc. Also frustrating was getting down to 3-4 cases (if you were lucky to get this far!)then the whole game turned off going back to the beginning! Tried contacting the manufacturer/distributor "Imagination" several times. Imagination never had the decency to send an e-mail reply and oddly enough do not have a telephone number listing in Los Angeles--only Australia. How can a business run like this? Save your money and just watch on tv! Howie would be upset about this I'm sure!

Our neighbors gave us the gift, we are big deal or no deal fans, but this DVD game was very, very dissapointing. It kept getting stuck and would not even show us what was is in the case that we selected. It also kept saying "the disk is dirty" and shutting off by itself, but we had not even touched the disc yet. We tried doing it 4 times, but each time, it did not work at all.

This game stinks!!!

We got this game last year for Christmas. We are BIG fans of the show and I was expecting the DVD game to have more to it. I thought we would see the girls standing on stage and be able to pick our cases. Having to scroll through the cases takes away part of the intensity of choosing a case. They could have done such a better job making the DVD game more like the show. We didn't have too many problems with the game freezing, but that could be because we didn't play it a whole lot after the first couple of weeks. I would not recommend this version of the game to others. Maybe the board game version would be more fun to play with the family.

This would be great if it didn't freeze up almost every time you play it. We lost interest because of it freezing up on us. Spend your $20 on something that actually works.

Just played our first few games! We really enjoyed it as a family. SIMPLE to use - read no directions - they are on the dvd - yeah! The processing time to choose your numbered case is a little slow - but you have to look at it like suspense time - it makes it funner (be Howie)! You can not see all of the cases to choose from at once. You scroll through the cases left in numerical order - we created a page with the numbers on it to help us remember what case numbers were left so that we could get through the slower processing faster! We also have had the game freeze allowing only one direction to move when choosing our cases. Unsure if this is a specific problem with our dvd or not? You can still continue the game - it just may take a little longer to make a full loop of the numbers. We did not feel the game was repetative - as Howie has many different comments so far! The ending of the game is a little disappointing - you make a final choice of a case -it is opened and a big deal is not made over your winnings - so we just do it ourselves! Overall we are having a great time suspensfully being able to actually seeing how our own choices turn out! I would buy this as a gift for others!
