Looks Good But Does Not Las Long January 7, 2009 Reviewer:  CJ (Texas) "CJACK" (USA)  See all my reviews >

I thought with the Black & Decker name I was buying a great and long lasting toaster. NOT THE CASE! It broke within the year...don't waste your money.

Black & Decker-Try not to burn your fingers November 29, 2008 Reviewer:  Sunshine (Colorado) See all my reviews >

Toast does not pop up high enough to grab. Practically have to unplug and jab with a knife. Hello, did the manufacturer/designer not try it out before putting it on the shelves. I purchased the Back to Basics egg maker/toast maker yesterday. It is really cool. So far, definitely recommend it. The egg was cooked perfectly and it times the toast to be ready about the same time as the egg. Very cool..

So Not Worth It! September 16, 2008 Reviewer:  Junior Mom "M. Pepper" (Bogota, NJ)  See all my reviews >

I needed a new toaster so I went to Target to buy one that was attractive and functional. I thought this one was beautiful and a brand name I could trust, so I plunked down the money.
Needless to say, I was sorely disappointed! The toaster toasts well, but I cant get to the bread since the coils don't allow it to spring high enough for the toast to pop out! The toaster itself is really wide and takes up too much space on my counter and the defrost feature (which actually was a deciding factor in my purchase) hasn't ever worked at all! Wish I had returned it.

Love this toaster! March 11, 2008 Reviewer:  Frequent Shopper "Lola Q" (Queens, NY, USA)  See all my reviews >

I absolutely love this toaster. It has 2 different settings for frozen food, like eggos, and bagels.

So-so January 7, 2008 Reviewer:  MusicChick2 See all my reviews >

I like the design, and especially the "frozen, bagel, & cancel" features. BUT it seems I have to set the darkness almost all the way to what you'd think would be black to get a nice golden medium toast. I agree with the other reviewers that it does take quite a long time to toast too. I should have spent a little more money for a better quality product.

You get what you pay for January 5, 2008 Reviewer:  Renee H "Renee H" (East Greenbush, NY)  See all my reviews >

I purchased this as a replacement for a kitchenaid toaster that I had for years. It is not up to the quality of what I had. It takes a long time to toast anything, the bread does not pop up high and fingers are always getting burned, and you have to have it set on a high setting in order for it to even toast! I am currently looking to replace it with another kitchenaid. If you like quality items, I would not recommend this.

pretty good November 12, 2007 Reviewer:  Happily Married "Jenn R." (Arlington, Tx)  See all my reviews >

My husband and I received this toaster for our wedding. It does a great job and I love the color of it. My only concern is that when its done..it doesn't pop the bread "up" enough and if your not careful you may burn your fingers when you go to grab it.

Wonderful toaster! November 9, 2007 Reviewer:  K. Deffenbaugh "Happy Wife" Real Name (Tampa, FL)  See all my reviews >

I got this toaster as one of my wedding gifts and I really like it. I love how it cooks our frozen waffles and bagels to perfection. I have not had any problems with it and I recommend it to anyone!

Toasts quickly & does it well August 19, 2007 Reviewer:  Mom of the best girl in the world (Los Angeles, CA)  See all my reviews >

It works much better than our other $60 toaster. It toasts quickly and at level 3 the toast is a light brown. It only toasts 1 side well but I don't mind much. At least I don't have to wait 2 hours for my toast and end up being late for work (j/k).

Puts the Toast Back in Toaster :) August 10, 2007 Reviewer:  College Diva "Morgan" (San Luis Obispo, CA)  See all my reviews >

I inherited this toaster from a roommate who bought it last year in a shared apartment. Let me tell you, we made a lot of toast, but it stood up to the challenge. It has never burned, toasts evenly, and pops the toast up high enough that you don't have to stick a knife in there to get it out. I'm so glad she moved back home and didn't need it anymore! For the brand I expected it to be expensive, but for the price, why would you buy anything else?
