This is not my first piece of furniture from Target. I have always been pleased with the quality and easy assembly until I received this piece. There were not very many pieces so I assumed it would not take long to put this item together. Boy, was I wrong. Many of the holes were misaligned which in turn caused me to strip most of the screws. I then had to go to the local home improvement store in order to replace those srews in which I had damaged. The instructions only called for a srewdriver which I had but no drill. I had to make due with what I had and now I have a table that is put together half way until I am able to retreive my drill so that I then can make new holes. I also had issues with the knob for the drawer. I have had this issue in the past with their furniture. The knobs never screw all the way into the bolts so they are always loose leading me to go and buy a new bolt or knob. I think a better job at inspecting these pieces should be done before shipping these items out. I saw a similar table to this one at a furniture store for about $20 more and it would have been well worth purchasing it instead of having to deal with the frustration of assembling this table. All in all the table is heavy and I think well made for not being completely assembled yet but I'm not sure if I would purchase another again.

This table is flimsy to say the least. Aside from that, the screws became stripped as mentioned in the other reviews. The table came scratched and it looks like the material is also very easy to scratch. I returned it, I do not recommend it.

This piece only took me 15 minutes to put together. However some of the drill holes were misaligned but not to the point were my screws became stripped as mentioned in another review. Only one complaint is the knob on the drawer did not screw in all the way which causes it to be a bit loose but still attached. Not worth returning though, buying another knob would be easier. Very cute and I'm happy with the table! The top of the table has some dimension to the wood - it gives it some character and makes it look like a more expensive piece of furniture.

The table is beautiful and worth the buy. However, WORD OF WARNING: Do not use the included screws for assembly. I attempted to use the screws with my power drill and a standard hand held screw driver, and both times the screws stripped. The notch at the top of the screw would loose its grip and I was unable to continue screwing it in or remove it to replace with a new screw. Other than that, table is beautiful and elegant.

Table is nice looking and sturdy. I agree with the comment on the screws/hardware - Do not use, very cheap! The table also had a scratch on the top which I had to touch up.

PIECE-O-JUNK

looks nice online, but when assembled it's a piece of junk! It wobbles and isn't sturdy at all. I bought 2...both are going back to the store!

We bought 2 of these tables and really regret it. The first table was missing 8 screws and had 2 legs that were too big to fit in thes lots. Legs on the 2nd table were also too big for the slots. Lastly, the black color of the 2 tables was also noticeably different.

Well, the table looks nice once put together. But getting there is the difficult part. As mentioned before the screws/hardware that comes with this table are very cheap. The first screw started to strip, but I just found a different screw driver to fix that problem. But then 2 of the screws had the head of the screw snap off before I could get them in all the way. No power drill, just a screwdriver. So I then had to break out the drill and drill new holes in the table and brackets. But after that I got it together and it looks great.
If you buy this table, be prepared to buy some different screws for the brackets.

I bought two of these as bedside tables and like them very much. I didn't have any trouble assembling them, other than the fact that the hardware packet was missing one screw. My only dislikes are that the table is a bit wobbly (but not bad), and that the inside of the drawer has a fine black dust all over it. The dust almost seems like paint residue or something and makes a huge mess of anything that touches it. The look of the table is great.
