I had a 24" stool which allowed me to prepare meals for my daughter's family two or three times a week. It broke and I was ready to fork over a big price to have it repaired when the furniture rebuilder suggested that I look on line at Target. The seat is more comfortable than my old stool and it it very, very sturdy.

I am 71, cook for my family at least twice a week and can't stand for long periods of time. This little stool allows me to be in the kitchen and complete the tasks at hand. I use it several times a day -- every day and it stands up to the job.
