Description

    Game storyline: In multiplayer games, characters from all Nintendo universes meet up in Nintendo locales to duke it out. In the solo mode called "The Subspace Emissary," the world of Smash Bros. is invaded by an entity called the Ancient Minister and his army of creatures, called "The Primid." Normally, characters come alive in the world of Smash Bros. to do battle, then turn back into trophies when defeated. However, the Ancient Minister starts turning characters into trophies to harness their power, then detonates bombs that suck pieces of the world back into his realm of Subspace. Eventually, all the characters must work together to defeat the invading creatures from Subspace - this is accomplished by playing through side-scrolling levels. How to progress through the game: For multiplayer games, players pick characters, set rules and locations for where they want to play and then duke it out. In Solo Mode, characters play through a long, side-scrolling adventure, beating up enemies along the way as they watch short cinematics starring their favorite characters.Characters: Mario, Samus, Bowser, Donkey Kong, Solid Snake, Meta Knight, Kirby, Pikachu, Zero Suit Samus, Link, Zelda, Pit and Wario, to name just a few. Anyone and anything from a Nintendo universe could appear in this game in one form or another. Special powers/weapons/moves/features: Anything from a Nintendo game could conceivably be in this game, whether it's a musical score, an obscure item or a character that shows up to help the fighters. Super Smash Bros. Brawl is eminently customizable, so players can choose the frequency of items appearing, adjust musical scores and basically play the game however they'd like. Items range from baseball bats to proximity mines to Poké Balls to Assist Trophies, which spawn characters like Hammer Bros. and Sim City's Dr. Wright to attack others. Super Smash Bros. Brawl is a brawling, battling, action-packed video game that features a varied roster of characters for four-player simultaneous melees Use your Wii Remote and Nunchuck controls to deal serious damage to your opponents and win the game This Wii entry in the popular series features a number of new additions, including an Adventure Mode (with co-op play), a wealth of new characters and stages, and online combat for multiple players to face off against each other from anywhere

I pre-ordered this game knowing it was in high demand and the first day I got it all my friends came over to have a BRAWL PARTY(lol).. We played it for a straight 9 HOURS before it got too late and everyone had to leave. (You CANNOT play this game quietly!!!) And we still have them from time to time... Everyone seems to prefer playing with the Gamecube Controllers but once you learn how to you the WiiMote and Nunchuck it's super easy and fun! Every character has their own qualities that makes them awesome! And SOLID SNAKE is featured in this version as well as SONIC and TOON LINK!!! And I love the Smash Ball!!! This is a GREAT PARTY GAME!!! And Adventure mode is fun as well! You can also play this online versus friends and other players via Wi-Fi!!! I definitely recommend this to anyone who has a Wii!!!

I highly recommend this! It is very addicting and has a lot of characters that everyone can recognize. It is definately worth your money! There are many modes you can play on and it is really fun to play with other people.

What I liked: Variety of characters, modes, and arenas, Challenging, Build your own arena mode

What I didn't like: Online battle mode can be slow.. it usually freezes up. Also it gets a little boring after you get all the people and you don't really have much else to do.

What could be improved: Faster online mode, more people/arenas to unlock

It has classic characters from our favorite childhood games. Battle on Wi-fi, or with your friends to find out who is the BEST OF THE BEST in your house, neighborhood, or the world (just kidding). Change your characters colors to fit your style. Play the story mode alone or with a friend. Unlock secret characters to have some more competition.

This game is the best. You can play with both Game Cube and Wii controllers. Its made my Wii experience worth while.

This is one of the best games I have played in a long time. The graphics are impressive and the gameplay itself is amazing! Parents should ignore the T rating because it's about as violent as a Dora cartoon (Okay, that's sort of stretching the truth but you get my point.) A definite must to any christmas list.

I like this game but it is not the end all be all that the hype surrounding it makes it out to be. Controls are fairly simple and the game has good depth. But this is not a "genre busting game", meaning that if you dont want to play a fighting game you will not have fun. Single player (subspace missions) is a bit weird and long, and forces you to use characters you might not ever try (mixed blessing). If you want to have 4 people going at for hours this is great otherwise this game loses it's appeal somewhat.

The non-stop action and large amount of collectibles make this game what it is. You venture through The Subspace [1 player mode] until you unlock all 35 characters.I would highly recommend this title to anyone who has the Wii. In fact, this game alone is the reason why I bought this console.

Also, don't be scared by the "T" rating, this game is suitable for anyone able to use a controller.

This game is loads of fun and the story mode is pretty interesting. I love brawling with the different characters, new and old. Who wouldn't love a game where you can mindless beat the crap out of famous nintendo and sega characters?
