My son wanted these for about 6 months and begged for them for his birthdy. So, I bought them. We opened them today and they are aweful. Most don't blend and many don't even work! He is so disappointed which makes me sad since it was supposed to be a great present.

Save yourself the money. I just bought these pens b/c we were headed down to Disney for a family vacation and I thought that this would be something exciting and new to keep my two older kids busy on the plane (7yrs & 5yrs). I could not believe it when I saw that they did not work the way they said there were supposed to. Not only did the colors change and not work right, my son tryed to twist it like it said to and the whole thing snapped in half and broke. He was upset. Not worth the money for sure!

My son wanted these pens for so long after seeing them on TV. When they finally arrived for his birthday, they were a total disappointment! They don't work at all like the commercial claims they do. They don't blend at all. And like another mom said, the tips of the pens get colored by eachother and none of the colors are what they are supposed to be. Don't waste your money on these and save your child the disappointment.

My kids, 7 years old and 4 years, wanted these after seeing the commercial. So we purchased it when we saw it in a store and their excitement was SO high! Upon arriving home, opening it and trying it out we found it was good for one hour. After that the colors bled into the tips making yellow now brown, red a black, etc. And they started to dry out by the next day. Please do yourself a favor, spare your children the disappointment and stick with basic markers and crayons.

I purchased a set of blendy pens for as Christmas present for my daughter. They are a huge hit with my daughter and her friends. I have a few girls coloring around the kitchen table a few times a week. I am back for more paper. The special paper makes the designs pop.

My 5 year old son received these for Christmas and has had a blast with them. I recommend reading the directions and following the 5 second or less twisting of the pens during blending. If you do it longer than that the colors don't blend well. I was worried about the pens going back to their original color after blending but to my surprise they do! I think they are a great product and have already made for several hours of mom and son coloring sessions.
