I received this as a Christmas gift and was looking forward to a relaxing soak while I watched a movie - wrong! This thing is so loud that you can't possibly watch TV at the same time without your neighbors complaining about how loud the TV is in your house.
The heater: The box and instructions state that there is a heater in this unit that will maintain the heat of the water placed in it - only if you put in luke warm water.
The massage and pumice attachments: The amount of pressure required to make the attachment spin is also enough to keep it from spinning, especially when using the pumice.
The toe-touch controls: only if your toes work like fingers.
The "jets": Very weak pressure. Not worth the extra noise to turn them on.
I can say that the bubble mode did feel nice while the water was still around 100 degrees, but once the water cooled down, the bubbles made the water seem even cooler.
The Acupressure nodes on the floor of the unit were also nice, but not enough to make up for the rest of the disappointments. This thing is going back to Target!

I received this as a Christmas gift and was looking forward to a nice soothing foot massage. It advertises "with heat" which basically means if you put hot water in the tub it will keep it warm. It doesn't. There is no heating mechanism so basically it's like sitting in a bathtub full of warm water and calling it a heated tub. It cools off very quickly. You can barely feel the "jet action" and it is very loud. I have to admit it did make my feet feel soft, but I'm not sure I wouldn't get the same results just soaking my feet in a basin of water.

I got this item as a birthday gift, and have enjoyed it thoroughly! The unit keeps the water temperature for a while although it does not heat up the water. It depends on how warm the water is when I start. If the water is very warm at the beginning, the water may feel cooler after a while because my feet are already used to the hight temperature. But actually the water temperature keeps at a certain level after it cools down from the beginning temperature and it does not get colder. I guess this is what the unit is working to keep the warmth. So I am happy with it. The bubbles are nice and relaxing for my feet, and it's quiet enough when I watch TV. The spinning pedicure is very convenient. The one-toe touch makes my footspa experience very relaxing and easy... I am using it very often, especially now in summer! Great gift - I love it!

The unit does not heat the water, merely keeps the water warm, as stated on the box. This should not surprise anyone. However, the water will eventually cool -- which should also not surprise anyone. I had zero problems with the pressure needed to operate the attachments -- in fact, I found that a very light touch worked just fine. The bubbles are great, although the jet action is not very strong. It's more of a tickle than a massage. I found the noise level to be managable while watching television. I like this unit for the price.

I recieved this as a gift. While I like having the foot spa, I have to agree with the other reviewers, it does not keep the water warm at all. After a few minutes, the water actually starts to feel a lot colder. The jets and bubbling are ok with me, but this is the only foot spa I've ever used. The "minimum of noise" it's supposed to have is pretty loud too.

I'm pretty happy with this purchase. Machine worked fine the first time, 2nd time it started draining water from the bottom after I tried turning on the bubbling system. I think this was a safety thing as it is working fine again now. I don't know why it happens but the motor that creates bubbles if it fails to start or whatever the water ends up leaking through those holes out the bottom. It's intended as the bottom of the machine has drains built into it but there isn't a lot of warning that it's happening. So test the machine after you fill it, I plug it in and turn both system on and make sure it's fully working, it's only happened once, so hopefully it's going to be a rare problem.

I have received this as a Christmas gift, and was very excited about it. But unfortunately the unit I got was defective. No bubbles, no keeping water warm, and after few minutes I've noticed that water level was decreasing. Of course, the carpet was soaken wet. My friend didn't keep her receipt, Target won't exchange it without receipt, and I'm stuck....

I'm a busy (and stressed out) Ph.D. student trying to finish her dissertation. Let me tell you this thing is saving my sanity. Try writing your dissertation on your lap-top with your feet soaked in this for 20 minutes! Who says you can't give yourself a pedicure between research papers and dissertation chapters/edits!?!
