Cute-check! Works-check! Safe-no!

Yes, it looks cute, but it is absolutely impossible to clean. Dirty humidifiers spew nasty stuff in the air. Save cute for bedding and get something that works and is easy to clean.

I purchased 3 of these crane humidifiers and none of them worked. The penguin wouldn't let the water into the into the water basin unless the tank was shaken lightly, so every 20-30 mins it would stop puuting out mist unless you went a shook the tank. The elephant had a big crack in the water basin. The Dragon's nebulizer didn't work.

I read through almost all of the most recent reviews on many of these Crane models on this website and others. I was so confused why there was such a huge range of reviews; I desperately needed to figure out which one to buy! It turns out that some of these models serve different square footage rooms (which explains why some reviews claimed to make the rooms too humid); the elephant model is for a smaller room (250 sq ft), while the frog handles almost twice the square footage (500 sq ft). Also, if the surface it rests on is not completely level, it causes the 'low water' sensor to trigger after a few minutes, thus shutting the unit off (making it appear as if it's not working). As for leakage, it seems to leak regardless of what I do, but only minimally. However, if the top isn't placed correctly on, it will leak more. Hope this helps. The elephant works great for our nursery!

My daughter was getting a runny nose often so we went and got this humidifier and she has been fine! We love it! I fill it with water from our water cooler system and not the faucet, it works better for it. Reccomend this product to all!!

We've had this humidifier for a year now (only using it in cold weather) and it works well. It is a bit of a pain to refill, but we don't have to refill it that often, maybe once or twice a week. Over all, it is very easy to use!

I had never even thought of a cute humidifier! But this one is! The friends I bought it for use it every night in their baby's nursery, and they say it works wonderfully!

We are having good luck with this, despite some previous reviewers. Although, we've only used it for a few weeks. The elephant is cute and seems to work well so far. We have the green frog version in our older daughter's room and have used it for about 2 1/2 years, without problems.

We bought this elephant for my son in December '08 and by the end of February it had stopped working. My husband and I have tried everything. We can't find out whats wrong with it. It did work fine and we loved it, but then one day it just stopped working. We liked it while it worked, and wish we could figure out what's wrong with it.

got this as a shower gift for my first child...3 years later, it still works great. i will be purchasing another crane animal humidifier for my second kiddo. just have to decide which one...

I purchased this humidifier today. I set it up in minutes, and it has been running all afternoon. I was pleasantly surprised at the output of mist! My 12 week old son and I both caught colds, and I researched all morning to find a good humidifier. Aafter reading the reviews, I went to Target and got this one. I also purchased the filter, as it keeps the mist from leaving white residue everywhere.
