Good idea for a carrier but has a defect. I would recommend keeping this in a cool place and would not put frosted cupcakes inside. I have had two incidents where the frosting melted off the cupcakes while transporting them. They were in a cool place and were in there for a short amount of time. The top seems to create heat with the plastic and metal components. I have seen condensation gathering on the top. I would recommend drilling small holes in the top to stop this from happening. It seems weird to me that cooled cupcakes with frosting would melt like that in this carrier. And for that I was disappointed with the product.

I love to bake all sorts of things. I first bought this because at my 3 year olds daycare they had a party so I decided to make cupcakes. This is very durable. Easy to clean up and the other cupcakes do not get messed up!!!!!!!!!

I have used this item for my son's school parties, birthday parties, and other family functions. It is very durable and easy to carry it. I love that that the cupcakes don't flip around and they stay steady. The handle locks on both sides and does not open unless you didn't close it right. I highly recommend this item for busy mom's like me who are always on the go.

Great product, very durable, have never had a problem except the cupcakes sometime tip over - but that will happen with any product like this if you aren't careful. Easy to clean, easy to use, and you can flip the bottom up for compact storage! I have bought 5 of these for gifts!

This cupcake carrier is AWESOME! You will not regret buying this if you are in the need for an efficient way to transport your cupcakes. You can frost them quite liberally without getting it everywhere when you take them places! Never had any issues with frosting melting or anything. I LOVE THIS THING!

Was looking for something to transport cupcakes to my daughter's preschool. Wasn't even sure if there was such a thing as a cupcake carrier, so I Googled it and came across this one. Was the last one at Target. Have to say I'm very pleased with it. Piped icing stars on the cupcakes and not one of them got messed up. When I picked up my daughter, all of the teachers wanted to know where I got it at so they could get one.

I'm a teacher and my students often have bake sales. This carrier is wonderful for carrying in frosted cupcakes and keeping them all separated and looking great. The cupcakes transport well in the car and the carrier is super easy to manage, even with other bags you might be carrying (i.e. papers I graded the night before). One person mentioned that their cupcake frosting melted when they let the carrier set in the sun. I have a one-word response to that: Duh!

I bought this carrier so that I could carry two dozen cupcakes easily to my destination and not worry about smushing the frosting. Unfortunately I can only carry one dozen frosted cupcakes in the carrier. Two dozen unfrosted or very lightly frosted cupcakes will fit fine, but I am creative with the cupcake frosting and decorations, and the top tier will smush the bottom tier. Also, the top tier will bow due to the weight of the cupcakes, and it bows more with the weight of the frosting. The nice thing about this kit is that you do get a cupcake baking pan.

I'm ordering my second one. I bought the first one to send cupcakes and muffins to school for my grandson. He rides a Special Ed bus so I can send it on the bus with him. I love it, so when my first one fell off the refrigerator and cracked, I immediately started searching for a replacement. Where I got the first one no longer carries it so I'm so glad I found this one that I could order. Would recommend it any mother that sends cupcakes to school or it is good for keeping them at home.
