We bought our gazebo last summer. It has been absolutely great. It's very cozy during the day for shade. At night, the chandelier creates ambiance. I love the whole thing! It looks great, too. It wasn't too bad to assemble. We added sand to the columns and bolted the columns to our concrete patio. It's very solid. Our only problem arose when we had a couple of ferocious storms. The first storm tore some of the hooks that held the fabric top to the metal frame. We repaired them. A month later, the mother of all storms shredded the fabric top. (We've never had such bad storms. Is this global warming???) Anyway, we were able to order a replacement top easily ($150, I think).

[...] We get 50+ MPH winds, and it has taken a toll on the canopy! Other then that, this is a BEAUTIFUL Gazebo. I replaced the netting with white fabric, and its very private and cozy now. I use it as an outdoor "ROOM" all the time! (we dont have bugs in the desert!)

Fabulous. Lasted through the winter. From the looks of it, it will last a long time. I live in the Northeast. Just take the canvas off and the curtains. It is very stable. Still looks great. Everyone asks me where I got it. Will be getting the chandelier this spring.

We purchased our Tiverton Gazebo in May of 2007. We have the gazebo on our back deck over our spa and lag bolted in place to the deck floor. It has went through many storms until the one last week that had 50-70 mph winds that finally ripped the canopy to shreds. The way the canopy is designed is great as far as letting the wind blow through it and not catching it is great, but the areas that need strengthed are around the hooks where mine tore loose and ending up ripping. Another issue I have is the 6 month warranty, I feel there should be a year so we could feel like we are getting our [money's] worth. [...] Overall I am satisfied with the gazebo, it is a well built frame and looks awesome.

I bought this gazebo at Target Store in Machester, Connecticut. Be honest, the customer service at this store is super, but the quality for this gazebo is not. I had to come back the store 3 times for exchanging, due by 1 or 2 of the 4 top corners are already broken, when I open the box at home. Back to the store, even when the store employee open the new box, it still have 1 broken in there. In assembling and dis-asembling, these tops corners are very very easy to break, althouh one is carefull to remove it out. Right now, I still have 1 top broken corner when I dis-assembly it, and waiting for the store when stating to sell it again and hoping for another exchange, because the store know about this part or may be I have to pay for it. I intend will call the Target customer service for the replacement that part or I will have to pay it. Not for sure yet. So, becarefull when you purchase this gazebo at the store or online.Because you only found out when you open the box. I do not think by shipping (transportation) but by the manufacture that designs that part is no good, if you look at that part, you will see it is very fragile, althought it molded. Hopefully with my review the company will take a look about this product. Thanks.

This is the second gazebo we bought from Target. The first was much less substantial, but it lasted year round (Northern Virginia) for three years. This one has been through Spring, Summer, Fall and half of winter, including snow and lots of rain. It is on our deck and we anchored it with ropes inside the columns that we can pull out and tie down if necessary. I don't think we have done that yet. The canopy is not the best quality. Recommend you weather proof it and be sure to disconnect it from the corners if you expect high wind or ice! That's what killed the last one -- an ice storm laid a couple of inches of ice on the canopy and the frame just imploded from the weight. We use it like an outdoor room on a large deck, and like others have said, it is the envy of the neighborhood! We just love it. If the canopy goes, I will probably invest in a custom replacement of higher quality canvas, because the structure is sound and looks beautiful. Four stars because of the quality of the canopy. Otherwise, five starts.

We purchased this gazebo in Aug, 2006 and were very impressed with it's looks and design.......until it went through it's first storm and winter. The cover is quite frankly a piece of junk and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Now we are faced with trying to find a replacement cover if we are to continue using it.

This last summer I had wanted to purchase a gazebo for my back deck and had really liked the model that was one step below the Tiverton- Sean Conway. I waited towards the end of July to buy it. When I got to Target there were only a few floor models remaining. The one I wanted was out of stock so I opted for this one. [...] I had my dad help me put it together, whick entailed, ZERO directions or box that it came in. It was a complete guessing game. It was not difficult, in fact if I had had the directions, it would had confused me. When we got the four corner posts put up we poured 120 pounds of sand in each one for stability and anchored them down. It is now the end of November and it has held up without any problems, including a huge wind storm that knocked out my electricity. One thing I do suggest is make sure your dog can see the screens. Both sides of the gazebo have large holes where my dog walked into them.
To recap:
~ ~ ~POUR SAND (BETWEEN 80-120 POUNDS) INTO EACH COLUMN
~ ~ ~TEACH YOUR DOG WHERE NOT TO GO OUT AT.
~ ~ ~THROW OUT THE DIRECTIONS AND USE COMMON SENSE TO PUT IT TOGETHER.
It also looks beatiful with gazebo lights on the inside. I used the gazebo every day that it was hot out. Simply elegant. I don't know where to buy replacement screens though.

My husband and I tried to put this up with the help of our neighbor. There were very little directions! We had parts missing and due to that we didn't realize that some of the stuff had reinforcements.
Long story short, we loved it the two nights that it was up. But the wind damaged it to the point where I had to have it welded. A professional carpentar came to put it up and said there were still missing parts.
Through all of this Target was of no help!

I purchased this gazebo in June, and assembled it myself. (I had to build the patio first so it sat in the box for a month) It is a bit tricky to put together without help but it still only took a couple of hours to do. We've had some pretty windy days and I'm glad to say that there was no damage. It helps to make sure the gazebo itself is completely level even if your patio is not. Winter is coming so I have taken the sides down and the top off to store. I am completely satisfied and would recommend it. My friends and neighbors love it!
UPDATE !!!! This is the third season for this gazebo and it still looks great! Make sure you remove the canopy in the winter. The frame is strong enough to hold a chandelier. My canopy was damaged in a hail storm but I was able to purchase another online and without any problems.
I still recommmend this gazebo.
