We LOVE the Gazebo! It is wonderful to sit under at night as well as during the day. We have had several rains and some wind and it hasn't bothered it at all. We are very happy about our purchase. Hey, at [the price we paid] we will be happy if we only get a couple years out of it but I'm sure it will last longer than that! I would definitely recommend buying!

We bought this gazebo early spring and we have been very happy with it! It is definately water resistant! We had a few heavy rain storms early in the season and we went out to the gazebo and low and behold the rain did not come thru the canvas! Also with that storm we had major winds and I thought when i came home from work that it would have been blown over but it wasnt - that storm was like a mini hurricane too with wind gust sustained 40 mph with gusts over 60mph and that went on for 2 days straight! So to answer LEO in Cali yeah its definately water proof! and I also read another comment about the bugs being able to get in becuz the netting is not tight and that is true! that is the only feature that is disapointing! Also it says on the box you can put this together in 2 hours! there is no way possible - it comes in a million parts and it took 2 mechanically inclined guys over 7 hours to install and it was HARD work! So I guess if you had like 20 people over you could get it done in 2 hours.

Saw 2006 model, fell in love. Waited for it to go on clearance, and offered to buy floor model. Store manager told me I had to unassemble it and take it home myself. Nvermind! So,waited a year and saw 2007 model, liked it even more and from reviews read it was sturdier version. I live in a very windy spot. Shook the thing in store in three separate locations-stores every week until two weeks (yeah, the manager loved that) ago when it finally went on clearance here. It is very sturdy. Bought the last one in a box-the manager had five boys ready and waiting to carry it out for me--haha. Neighbors, and my husband and I had it up in one hour-we are not tall people. The advice about working end from end on putting the canopy on pillars is very helpful. I'd also suggest making sure netted curtains are lined up with short to long sections before putting them up. Now I'm looking for a chandelier, none to be found! And we've also bolted the canopy to the deck. My instructions blew away, thanks for posting the phone number for replacement parts! Our neighbors love it, we love it, and it is The Hangout after dark, because of the mosquito netting and Sean Conway's taseful design!

I was so happy to get this Gazebo until it was time to put it up. The directions need to be improved. It took a few hours, then when it was time to put the top on we couldnt do it. The top is now on the floor waiting for a few tall people to help get the post on. [...]

We put this together (without instructions) in about 4 hours as we bought the floor model. It looks great and is anchored into the patio with concrete screws. It's not going anywhere!

For those of you looking for replacement parts or instuctions: the number is 1-800-457-4652. We also bought a floor model, my husband called and they emailed the directions within an hour. So far, we love it. The detailing on it is so nice. If you can get a chandelier to go with it, it is definitely worth the money. It does take more than 2 hours to assemble it (unlike the box suggests)....we were at about 5 or 6. Also you will need 3 to 4 people to lift up the canopy when you mount it on the posts.

I put this gorgeous gazebo up all by myself today. I must say I found it very easy to assemble. The instructions and pictures were more than ample. I am a woman who enjoys tinkering and assembling things and after I assembled it I did need my husband to lift the top onto the pillars. This gazebo is very well constructed and all the parts were very well labeled and packaged nicely. We achored it to our wood deck and I do plan to take the canopy and mosquito netting off during the winter and any inclement weather, which we seem to have quite a bit of in Texas lately. The canopy and mosquito netting are sewn very well. I do plan to purchase another canopy to have on hand. Overall, I'm just happy happy happy with this purchase. If there was a rating of 10, well, I'd give it a 10.

The first major wind, tore the canopy apart. Finding a replacement canopy is a nightmare. Target doesn't sell them. Search the internet, only one place was found. It was over $200 just for the canopy, and many times you must waits months to get. Product would be great if canopy was 1. stronger 2. replacement easy to find 3. replacement not so expensive

This is our second gazebo purchase. Both were Sean Conway, but this feels and looks MUCH better constructed. There is enough weight to the supports to keep it rigid even with my husband and sons shaking it! I definitely recommend it!
The only challenge in putting it together was putting the top on. If you have a spare crane like the instructions seem to suggest, you won't have a problem. Otherwise, have one person prop it up on one side, while the other screws in two of the supports with two screws each. Then repeat the process on the other side. It worked for us!

We looked at many different gazebos before choosing this one. I hired two of my daughter's high school friends (large football players with no gazebo experience) to put it up. Absolutely no problems whatsoever. It looks beautiful and has held up well since mid May. Bought the Fireside collection at the same time and a few other pieces and have received so many compliments on the entire set. Would do it all over again.
