Love it !!! April 22, 2007 Reviewer:  gotta love it "gotta love it" (Cincinnati, OH)  See all my reviews >

We love this addition to our outdoor deck. We had 40 MPH winds and rain and it stood strong. No worries and so beautiful!

can't believe this would blow away April 18, 2007 Reviewer:  Happy in SC "Cindy Lou" (SC)  See all my reviews >

Can't believe others said this gazebo blew away in 15mph winds. We purchased a few months ago. A few days ago,we had high winds, gusting to 45mph. Everything about the structure is like new. Maybe the ones that blew down were not anchored to a deck or concrete. We anchored ours and also put sand in the columns and it held up very well. We got the light fixture yesterday and put up. Looks great!!! The instructions were a little weak, but after 5 or so hours, we were having dinner under our new outdoor room.

Very Beautiful, Very Large, Very Sturdy April 10, 2007 Reviewer:  Kevin Glenn Adams "The Written Word" Real Name (Austin, TX)  See all my reviews >

I think many of the people reviewing this set are using the 2006 version -- I don't know how that one stacks up, but I do have the 2007 model. I must say it's been extremely sturdy and reliable despite others' comments. I think someone else mentioned this previously, but this gazebo is H U G E -- it covered our entire patio (which is good). We need 4 (strong) adults to put the top on the columns, I honestly don't see how it could be done with any less number of people. Plan to spend 2-3 hours getting everything "ready" before you finally try to place the canopy on the columns. Within the first week of assembly, we had a VERY strong wind storm and the gazebo stayed in place like a champ without any additional anchoring. Note, we plan to anchor this gazebo to concrete, but we decided to assemble first so we could accurately tell where we need to dig the holes to install concrete pillars (for anchoring). As someone else mentioned, the 4 corners of canopy top seem to "flip up" -- we solved that issue by installing velcro fasteners to the column tops and the canopy fabric. All my neighbors are very impressed with the look, quality, size, and most importantly cost. If only I could find one of those chandeliers in a local Target ... still looking for one.

Class and quality without large cost April 10, 2007 Reviewer:  Robin A. Colson "Minky" Real Name (Southern Maryland)  See all my reviews >

We examined many before purchasing and found workmanship in roof to be very good. We put it together with two adults and two teen girls in a few hours. Directions were very understandable. We mounted on our 1-step deck for strength using bolts in pre-drilled holes. I am confused as to why some have remarked negatively. Manpower is key to lifting roof on columns. To avoid damage to screened sides I made snap ties to hold on columns when not being used.

We purchased this gazebo as a replacement for another gazebo we had over our hot tub. We worked on it two afternoons to get it together because of rainy weather.
I must admit I was surprised how large it was because it did not look any bigger then the other gazebos at Target, but its huge.We had 30 mile winds today & it held up fine. My only complaints are the top corners of the canvas top turn up, & the netting is hard to figure out how to tie back because the columns are too wide to tie them to it.We did anchor it down into the concrete which is a must. You can't expect a gazebo like this to stay put on a lawn, otherwise its like a kite on a windy day. Over all its a pretty nice item.

So far so good, knock on wood, its beautiful March 23, 2007 Reviewer:  a forever shopper "Carol" (Northern Virginia)  See all my reviews >

I purchased this gazebo a month ago..... directions we found were very detailed and easy to follow, of course I did have two extremely competent mechanically inclined guys to do it...I admit I have not bolted to our patio yet, will do soon,,, I love the idea too about dropping sand bags down the coloumns.... great idea.... It is very sturdy to the look and when I try to shake it myself, it does not move... I ordered the entire set of patio furniture too... It all looks so elegant...I ordered the chandeleir, that should arrive in a week or so... the finishing touch...I am crossing my fingers that this gazebo hold up... yesterday we had dinner under the gazebo during a light rain...so peaceful....
