I love this swing! it is very soft and the cover removes easily and I was worried it wouldn't wash very well but it looked brand new after I washed it! It is quiet whitch I like and the only down fall is it uses alot of batteries but what doesn't!! I would recommend this to anyone I know.

After trying the rainforest swing by fisher price and not having it work out for us, we bought this swing and our son LOVES it! He slept peacefully the first time he laid in it, something he never did with the last swing. It's a must have for your little one! Also, a friend of ours bought it b/c we liked it so much and she loves it as well!!!

As everyone has said the motor on this swing is questionable. It sometimes will not swing at all and you have to keep reseting it but it has been getting worse since the beginning. My daughter (at 7 weeks) LOVES to recline and watch the mobile but when she is facing forward I sit in front of her to talk and play with her and when I do that I push the swing myself instead of use the motor. The mobile and light globe stops after about 5 minutes also. This is the only 'baby furniture' my husband and I have besides her bassinet so it gets a good amount of use and in that scenario it was worth the money for us.

the swing is beatiful, and while it worked it was awesome, but when my baby was about a month old the motor burned out and wont swing at all anymore, im glad it was a gift beacuse if i spent [this much] on a swing that only worked for a month i would be way more [angry] about this...

I just got mine and put it together in 5 minutes. I wanted to try it out before my baby arrived. It seems to make noise when it begins swinging. I put a bunch of heavy magazines (probably lighter than a 5 pounds) in the swing to give it some weight and it still made an awkward noise before it got into "the swing of things." It is not very loud mind you, this is why I gave it four stars and it goes away after a few swings side to side or back and forth. The music and sounds is great, the mobile is quite, just getting some noise when you set the swing to swing. I figured that I will keep it and that it is not a great annoyance in that it still swings pretty long on its own if you give it a good push (so you really don't have to set it on swing mode unless you have something time consuming to do). I figured that the swing mode can be used for the baby when he gets a little older and has become used to hearing sounds (will use the other features first. plus the swing seems to be quite daunting for a newborn past the first setting). I like that the baby can lay reclined, which is why I bought it in the first place and it also helped that I got it for half the price, considering that for a baby shower gift I got a gift certificate that covered half the cost! Very plushed out...Can't wait for my little man to try this.

My daughter loves this swing--when it swings. We've had it about four months now, and run it maybe 2-3 hours per day. The problem is that the motor only seems to last about 2 months. The first time, it stopped swinging but the music played. So I changed the batteries, but that didn't help. I called Fisher Price and they sent a new motor without any questions. It took a week to get it but I was pleased. Now, two months later, the motor is running inconsistently. I will have to call FP again and have it replaced. And we'll be another week without a swing. This product was too expensive to have this kind of hassle so I cannot recommend it.

I received this swing as a gift & have been using it every day since my son was 2 weeks old. He loves motion & noise so this is his favorite place to be. At first he hated it because we didnt know it could swing front to back. Once we figured that out, he practically lives in this! He'll stay asleep in it for hours. This is a MUST HAVE if you have a fussy baby like mine. The only negatives is that sometimes the little bunnies or bears on the mobile get caught as they spin around & it makes a very loud clicking sound & wakes the baby up, so when I see he is falling asleep I just turn that part off. And I dont like that the head pillow is attached, I wish there was a way to remove it if I wanted to. The motor is somewhat loud but it doesnt seem to bother him at all.

This swing is the #1 item I bought for my baby. It was invaluable. If you are comparing swings, I don't think you will find anything better. The sound, quality, and motion is great. I truly look back on the first few months and think about the cute little songs it plays and how my baby was intrigued with the mobile, he absolutely loved the swing. I don't know how I would have gotten through the first 6 months without this. I normally don't write comments, but felt compelled to do so because it is truly a great product.

I love how easy the swing is to put together. It works great. It plugs into the wall so there is no need for batteries. The motor is a little loud but it seems to sound like most swings. The controls are so easy to use that even a money could do it!

I would definitely recommend this swing to everyone! My little girl is 6 months old and she's been using it ever since day one. This is the only place she'll nap for more than 30 min at a time. The music is great and I love how you can make it swing front to back or side to side. That all said...my baby loves it!
