My husband and I love this product - and so does our daughter!! She will sit in this and stare up at the mirror and just giggle - and she loves the nature sounds. She falls asleep in this all the time (wakes up when the noise stops and goes right back out if you start it up again). We also like the fact you can change direction of the movement!! Worth every penny! I would highly recommend this product!!

As a newborn, my daughter would fall asleep in this swing. It was such a lifesaver when I just needed a moment to myself. My daughter is now 8 months and does not spend as much time in it as she use to, but we put her in it to drink a bottle and she enjoys doing that. This swing is amazing!!

I am expecting very soon and just put together this swing. So far I am not very excited about it. I do not like the positions of the seat. The first position lays back way to far. The swing is bulky and takes up alot of space. The worst part is the motor does not seem to work properly. I had to push the swing to get it to catch and then it would only swing fast. Also one of the animals on the mobile makes a loud clicking sound when it is turned on. I think I will be returning this swing and puchasing another one.

We had a regular swing before we got this one. Our son suffers from bad acid reflux and has to be in an upright position after feedings and falls asleep usually after eating. This swing has been a lifesaver for us, our little guy loves swinging from side to side. If he gets tired from going side to side we turn it to go the regular motion. Either way he loves swinging in his swing. We also love how far it reclines, definately nice with a new born.

We loved this swing and so did our son. We used it from day 1 (or we should say night 1) of bringing our son home and it saved our sanity those first few hectic weeks when you first bring baby home! Our son loved being in the swing and would fall asleep right away when he was really small. After he'd fall asleep we'd transfer him into his crib or play pen. As he got a little older he just loved to hang out in there and be rocked. He used it until he was about 4 months old at which point he got too long for it (he's a tall baby). I was sad to pack it up. Loved it. What sets it apart from the rest was the fact that it can swing side to side instead of just back to front.

It took our daughter a couple weeks to be interested in sitting in this swing but after 3 weeks she started to be able to see the sheep animals and loves it now!! Definitely worth the money.

This is the most amazing swing! It was so easy to assemble and only took a few minutes. My baby loves it and goes right to sleep every time i put her in it. It does make a little clicking noise but every swing we have tried does. To the person who wrote a review before me...i think you have the wrong swing because this one doesnt plug into the wall. This swing is sure worth the money!!!!

This swing is so cute, soft, and comfy! My baby loves to look at the mirror and mobile. The problem is that I can barely sleep since the motor is so loud! We have been using this to put our baby to sleep since she is only able to sleep if being held. The swing also drains batteries very quickly! Why did they not make an electric feature on the swing? Too many upsets for the price.

I have absolutely loved this swing, but unfornately must stop using it.

I was making dinner, and when I turned back around my baby was hanging head first from the front of the swing. The only thing kept him from falling on his head was the harness around his feet. I continued to use it, figuring maybe I did not have him properly belted. I watched him like a hawk when he was in it. Sure enough, it started to happen again.

Other reviews state the problem is with the seat belt. I disagree, I believe its because the seat doesn't recline enough. My son literally slumped to to the side, and slid down. If it reclined more OR if the sides were higher this could have been prevented. This was a gift, so I did not see the reviews ahead of time, and I definitely do NOT reccomend this swing. It is a safety hazard!

I called Fisher Price and although there's several complaints of this nature here on target.com, there isn't a offical recall or a modification available. FP was very helpful though. They're sending me a pre-paid mailing label to send the swing in for investigate and a refund check.
Because of their customer service, I will buy another FP swing, but none of the ones with the "papasan" model seat!!!

The swing is great, but it goes sooo fast it seems! Baby doesnt seem to mind though...We have used the battery operation feature so far and have had no problems. Hope it continues to serve well.
