Love it! March 2, 2009 Reviewer:  M. Glover "Newmommy022009" Real Name See all my reviews >

My baby boy loves taking naps in this dream swing, it's so soft and snuggly and he likes looking at the mobile too, the only initial problem was that when we first brought him home from the hospital it seemed like he was too small for it becaus his head was being pushed too far forward, and he is a full term average weight baby, but now he is 2 weeks and he seems to sit just fine in it!

love it except...... February 10, 2009 Reviewer:  Hud's Mom "mommy jenn" (Georgia)  See all my reviews >

I love this swing and my son loves it also, my only problem and I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem is that the swing seems to sway back and forth on its legs (does not come off the floor, just sways)

So far so good December 19, 2008 Reviewer:  Valentina Keyzman "VK" Real Name (gaithersburg, md)  See all my reviews >

I only had this swing for 3 days, but so far my baby likes it. She is still very little and all she needs is cozy sit and some rhythmic motion. She discovered a mobile, but she is not very interested yet...mirror in the middle of it makes her smile, she thinks somebody looking at her and she smiles back (she at that "socializing" stage). We only use the slowest speed right now, but swing has 6 or more. You can hear the motor working, but not very loud. It has several soothing sounds and sound leveler. It was not hard to put together. My hubby did it in 20 minutes.

Great Swing December 15, 2008 Reviewer:  Mom of Five (Sammamish, WA)  See all my reviews >

I have never been much into baby swings, but baby #5 has been a bit demanding. This is about the only thing she'll sit besides someone's arms. I like that it can swing in multiple directions and has so many speed settings. It is very soft and attractive looking. Our motor is not loud and the music/sounds are soothing even to me. The mobile and mirror have not got her attention, but we keep her more upright due to reflux, so she is not angled towards them. She doesn't love this to death, but will fall asleep in it sometimes, which is as good as it gets with her.

Dream Swing Brings Sweet Dreams December 2, 2008 Reviewer:  Happy New Mommy (MI)  See all my reviews >

I have a papasan swing just like this (but not the lamb one... the leafy/bunny one they had over the summer). My 3 mo. old has loved this swing since the day she came home from the hospital! She loves to nap in it. Whenever she is fussy, the swing does the trick! She loves swinging side to side and it's a comfy swing. I was a little worried at first because it swings so fast, but she loved the slowest setting. It was the best thing we got!

Great Buy!!! November 30, 2008 Reviewer:  releived mommy See all my reviews >

My baby will be 7 weeks old tomorrow and in the past week or so has been getting cranky every night around 7pm. I did a lot of reseach online for swings and came across this one. Went to Target to buy it and they were out. So I went next door to the otehr store and they had it. I've got it all set up and baby seems to love it so far. Im curious to see how it works tonight when and if he starts fussing. THe one thing Im not sure about is the clicking noise when you first turn the swing on. SOme of the other reviews I have read said that it goes away once the swing reaches the selected speed but I havent found that to be the case yet. Maybe I didnt give it enough time. But everything else is GREAT! Its super soft and all the feautures are wonderful!!

STILL THINKING ABOUT THIS SWING! WHAT A LIFE SAVER! November 20, 2008 Reviewer:  Aiden's Momma "MsHelen714" (Anaheim, Ca)  See all my reviews >

Hi, I bought this swing back in 2006. They had a different designed pior to this one but it's still the same concept. My son was very colicky and fussy throughout his infant days and this is the only thing that would put him to sleep! I went crazy for the first month and a half of non stop crying. I tried almost everything. The colic drops, avent bottles, catnap tea, etc. I spent so much money on those non sense stuff and the only thing that worked was this swing! Yeah it is pretty pricy but it's worth every penny!! Just remember to turn your baby's head often. My son has a flat spot on the back of his head from always being on the swing. The only thing that I don't like about this swing is that the engine burns out to quick. Remember to keep your receipt just incase it does but it can't exceed more then 90 days =). Give it a try and you fall in love with it just like most of us. I hope this help for all those mothers who have colicky and fussy babies.

I'd give up Diapers before I gave up this Swing November 19, 2008 Reviewer:  TexasTripletMom "TTM" (Houston, TX)  See all my reviews >

Our Triplets LOVE this swing. We love this swing, and I'm afraid we're all very dependant, nay I say even addicted to it. We're having a hard time getting them to 'relax' in a crib, or a bouncy chair because the swing is just so much easier and nicer.

The rocking either soothes, calms, or engages depending on their needs.

I love the nature sounds. The crickets chirping are cute and unobtrusive, but there are also waterfall and bird sounds. (we don't listen to the actual music)

The kids love to stare at the mobile (even from a very very young age and they were preemies too!). Only recently (2.5 months) did the kiddos start noticing their reflection in the mirror ball but that keeps them plenty occupied also.

It's soft, cozy, it allows them to lay 'flatter' (than most of the upright swings which i hated putting my kids in when they were super small). I felt they were safer in this than in the other swings when they were tiny the other swings made them kinda slump over.

I do wish the mobile and music lasted longer. Unfortunately it only lasts a few minutes, and as soon as the 'entertainment' turns off my son in particular goes from quiet staring to WAILING. The company also is a pleasure to deal with. (I called to recommend an increase in the duration of the 'features').

I think we're all in agreement that we wish they made this for adults, the fabrics are so plush and cozy and it's so soft!

It does make a somewhat startling clacking sound when it first starts up. It stops once the swing reaches 'full speed' for whatever setting you're using, without further resistance.

The swing does swing a little too fast when the kids are super small (ours came home at about 5 pounds), but if you hang a receiving blanket off the back just dragging the floor it slows down to a decent speed, though the clacking doesn't ever go away when you do that. (but we found the clacking is easy to adapt to and actually almost kinda relaxing once you get used to it).

As for batteries SURE they're expensive. Fischer price DOES make plugin models now but this isn't one of them at this time to my knowledge. (at least ours isn't). But it's not terribly bad. We run the swing nearly constantly and at most we've had to replace batteries every 2-3 weeks. (though it probably uses more juice once they get heavier).

Keep batteries on hand, one night BOTH of our swings ran out of juice with 3 kids SCREAMING. They'd calm down when i'd rock the swing by hand but as soon as it stopped we had major meltdowns and i was 1 inch from packing them all up to take with me to get batteries at the super market.

Amazing Swing November 3, 2008 Reviewer:  Happy Mom "Kelly S" (Grand Rapids, MI)  See all my reviews >

I never write reviews, but this swing is so amazing I had to write one. My daughter is 5 weeks old and we had a graco swing that she would use for about 10 minutes at a time before starting to cry. We bought this one and she LOVES it. She will be happy for at least 30 minutes if not longer and usually ends up falling asleep in it, which she never used to fall asleep on her own. I always had to hold her to get her to sleep. We were debating on buying this swing because we already had the other one, but it has been worth every cent! I don't know how we lived without it for 5 weeks!
