My baby loves this swing. We have been using it since he was a newborn. He is now 5 months old and still loves it. You can adjust it to swing from side to side or front to back with the touch of a button. You can save on battery juice by not using the music/sounds or twirly bugs all the time. We use all the functions most of the time and have replaced the batteries twice.

I had two friends tell me that I must have this swing...and I agree. Our son is 2 months and we just replaced the batteries for the first time. He spends a good bit of time in it everyday and often times naps in it. It has been the best tool in our arsenal when we need to get the baby to nap or just need to use our hands and need a place to put him where he'll stay happy.

My son is almost 3 months old now and still loves being in the swing! The mobile amuses him and there are 5 different sounds to choose from! It's a great investment, however, the batteries have been replaced 3 times in ours already!

I love the look and it soothes my baby to sleep. I like the papasan seat (2 positions) and how it swings side-to-side or front-to-back. As a newborn my baby would just watch the butterflies go round & round. Now, the music soothes her to sleep. My dauther is 4 months and we have not had any problems. I've been fortunate not to have the motor go out or shifting of the seat. She has her moments when she doesn't want to be in it, but of my 3, she tolerates the swing the best. It could be the comfortable seat. Best of all, I bought this during a free shipping promotion. Free shipping usually does not apply to HI at other store sites, but target does ship to HI for free (even furniture), which is why I mostly shop at target.com.

Swing was great! Only downfall is it doesn't plug into the wall and runs on batteries. Batteries lasted pretty long, but as my son got heavier you would have to replace them, but well worth it :) I think you would be happy with this product.

This swing was an absolute life saver, but the mobile motor died within the first few days. The batteries don't last very long and the swing motor gave in after only 3 weeks of use. I would recommend buying a powered swing, unless you want to buy stock in D batteries. Our baby loved the swing while it worked. [...]

Our son was fussy [to put it mildly], and this was the only thing that would get him napping. The music lasts just long enough for a baby to fall asleep. It looks so comfy that we wish we had one for adults! Definitely a great buy!

This swing is so wonderful. We got it when my daughter was a month old. She was very fussy and hard to calm, and as soon as we put her in it she was soothed for minutes at a time and would even fall asleep in it. We have never had any problems with it slowing down or anything, although if a blanket is dragging on the ground it does stop it, but that's just physics. The music/sound selection is great, I love that it plugs in, and the fact that you can have the light show on or off with the mobile moving is fantastic. I looked at many other swings and am so glad that we went with this one. Highly recommended!

We read and heard good things about the papasan swings. After putting ours together we had to return it the next day. The motor sounded like a washing machine and on the lowest setting the swing would sit and then all of a sudden take off swinging wildly, and then stop again. We also contacted Fisher Price and they told us to mail them the motor piece and they would send us a new motor. We instead brought it back to the store. We tried the store display and it seemed to do the same thing. We will be looking for something else. (Sad because it is very cute.)
