My daughter is 2 months old and very colicky! She would scream from 6pm until 2am every night. Some good friends of ours let us borrow this swing and the very first night she slept from 11pm until 4am!! I would die without this swing!! its a must have!!

I heard this swing was the best thing sinced sliced bread - but I must say it is just way to noisey. the clicking noise from the motor is louder than the music.
Does anyone else have this problem? Maybe I have a defective motor.

We fuond our swing a must have and will buy this for others. Had no problem with motor or mobile. Went through batteries pretty fast, but doesn't every baby toy? Goes forward/backward or side/side if you want. Has laying down for infants and sitting up position for older baby.

My son's swing looks a little different than the one in the picture, but it seems to be the same thing. He loves it! He has slept in it so much (he is a little over 2.5 months)! It has been VERY helpful for us. I don't know what I'd do without it! He seems to enjoy the music on it too. He hasn't really played with the toys yet, but he will get more into toys later. He has found the mirror above him though!
The bad thing is..it really eats through batteries! I don't like going through so many...I need to invest in some rechargeable ones! Also, like another reviewer suggests, it may be better with a five point harness. I have also found my son totally slumped over (they actually turn pretty much sideways sometimes). Luckily, that doesn't happen too often for us though. But anyway...all in all, I like this swing.

My daughter is 7 weeks old and absolutely loves this swing! It is one of the only places she will nap - and it works almost every time to calm her when she is fussy. She loves watching the mobile and looking at the mirror and the soothing sideways rocking motion helps her stay asleep and allow Mommy to make dinner, etc. We use this swing multiple times daily!

This was a disaster. The swing worked properly for about a month and then the spinning mobile stopped working. I could deal with that, but then the music stopped working as well. I called Fisher-Price and they did replace the motor, however, not too long after that the whole thing broke again! Not only that, my son would lean to one side of the swing and did not appear comfortable!

We purchased this swing and not only does it take up a lot of space, the seat is not shaped right for a baby to lay in. Our son ends up hunched over with his head to one side because they only provide a lap belt, when they should have provided an over-the-shoulder belt as well. That is scary!! Plus, the overhead mobile is placed to far back over the head to where our son has to crank his neck way back just to be able to see everything. The mobile should have been out further so the baby can easily look at it without effort. I wish now we would have gotten the Rainforest cradle swing, and it was $40 cheaper!! Don't buy this one!

We received this as a gift. It has worked great for 4 months. This morning the motor just stopped working. I called Fisher Price, they ran me through a trouble shoot then said they would send out a new motor. I don't have time to wait for the new motor, my daughter will only nap in this! They then offered to send me a refund if I sent them back the seat and cover.
My swing did not offer a plug in option, but I've seen some of the newest FP swings offer that option. I am going today to buy a new swing, I will probably buy a FP swing b/c they offer the plug in option now as well as side to side and front to back swinging.

This swing has been a lifesaver for our daughter (well..US really).
It's very comfy, and very pretty. She also loves looking at the rotating animals and the mirror (which I didn't realize was there until after we got it-BONUS).
And I love how the tray is detachable (some aren't!)

My only real complaint is that it can't be plugged in.
We go through those C batteries like you wouldn't believe!
My sister in law has the Rainforest Swing which can be plugged in. Although I loved the look of this one so much better.

My recommendation... stock up on those batteries.
