Great buy so far! October 4, 2009 Reviewer:  LR mama "Amber R" See all my reviews >

I have 2 weeks to go until my son arrives. So, I'm not sure how well it work after it gets put to real use, but it was extremely easy to put together. I did it by myself at 37 weeks pregnant and finished in about 30 minutes. It is absolutely adorable and has a good variety of sounds and music. I had another Fisher Price papasan swing with my first son. The motor went out right about the point that he hit the weight limit. I'm hoping that this one will last through more than one child...we'll see. So far, so good!

Can't Live w/o this Swing! September 24, 2009 Reviewer:  NavyLady (Burlington Twp, NJ)  See all my reviews >

We absolutely love this swing. Our little guy falls asleep EVERY time we put him in the swing. It's great if you are trying to get things done around the house. He loves to look at himself in the mirror. I thought the lowest setting was a little fast when he was a newborn, but now that he is 4 months old, we use the second to last setting with no problem. Recently my son caught a cold and he kept waking up coughing in the middle of the night. I put him in the swing (didn't even turn it on) and he has slept through the night the past three nights. I believe sitting up helps him breath better. The music options are great and I like being able to adjust the volume. I wish this swing was portable some way b/c we miss having it when we travel :-) The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is b/c the swings makes a knocking or clicking sound when it swings. I'm a light sleeper and I find it annoying but it doesn't seem to bother my son or my husband.

Great if it weren't for the batteries! September 10, 2009 Reviewer:  Ericka Ansell Real Name (ohio)  See all my reviews >

I buy new batteries for this swing every two weeks! It's ridiculous! My son loves the swing because it's very comfy and it reclines so it's a favorite when he wants to sit up. But remember you have to buy a million D batteries cause it takes 4 at a time!!!

Babies Favorite September 8, 2009 Reviewer:  Scy's Mom See all my reviews >

I originally was hesitant about buying a swing for my DD even though grandma wanted to purchase. We waited until DD was 2 months old and took her to the store to "try them out" as some friends had recommended. As soon as we laid her in this swing she closed her eyes (it is super soft). DH picked up the box and headed for the cashier. From the moment we brought it home our DD loved to swing (side to side). The "cradle" has two positions (reclining & upright) We did not use the front to back motion & upright position until she was close to the weight limit of 25 lbs & 7 months old because she seemed to fall forward (perhaps this is why some reviewers said their child felt out). I was never worried about her safety in the swing. The music was ok - sometimes felt it didn't play long enough. We only changed the batteries once with daily use over 6 months. The fabric was easy to clean & very cute. We did not have any problems with noise (unless the legs were not fully extended after we moved it) or any parts falling off. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Nice but not worth the money September 5, 2009 Reviewer:  First Time Mom (Wisconsin)  See all my reviews >

I recieved this swing as a gift at my baby shower and I fell in love with it. My son sleeps so peacefully in this and takes great naps in it! The only 2 things I have to complain about with this swing is the constant annoying clicking and that it doesn't seem too sturdy.

As my son swings from side to side there is a clicking noise every single time I have used this, even with the front to back. I don't find that very peaceful.

For the swing not seeming sturdy.. the left side lifts off the ground everytime in use. We have tried to tighten things, anything we could think of so this problem could be fixed, but nothing.

I wouldn't buy this just because it looks nice, it's expensive and not all worth the money. Very comfortable, yes, but I'm sure there are better ones out there.

Swing is Garbage August 19, 2009 Reviewer:  Pissed Dad "crap" (NM)  See all my reviews >

Me and my wife purchased the swing thinking it was the best swing we could buy for our son. What a freaking mistake this was. The lowest setting swings our son so rough its scary. The noise it makes is outrageous. We are so disappointed in this swing. The manual says if the lowest setting is to much hang an blanket from the swing so it drags and slows the swing down. Wow what a great fix! lets make the motor work even harder and make more noise to compensate for the poor engineering in this garbage swing. What a joke!!! Do not buy this swing, unless your baby is deaf and likes puking.
Fischer Price should be ashamed of themselves...
GARBAGE!

Love it - Goes through Batteries FAST! August 10, 2009 Reviewer:  ChatraClear "Kristy C" (Dallas, TX)  See all my reviews >

My daughter didn't like this the first few times we put her in it. She was so used to the vibration of her Boppy Bouncer. Now, we put her in and she sleeps very soundly. Yes, there is a clicking sound when it swings, but it's a repetitive noise that helps my baby fall asleep. The only thing that I didn't realize when I bought it was how fast we would go through batteries. There is another model that is pink that has a plug-in for an additional . Trust me, we have spent more on batteries by now! If I had I seen that one before I got this one, I would have bought that knowing what I know now. We just loves this swing and it works great. If you do purchase this, I recommend that when you turn on the on swing, start it off by swinging it. By having the machine motor start the swinging, it will drain the batteries faster.

Dream Swing August 8, 2009 Reviewer:  FL Mom (Sunny, FL)  See all my reviews >

My 8 week old likes to swing side to side but is equally happy to sit stationary watching the gazing ball and mobile go around. This swing allows me 20 minutes a day of hands free usage! I agree that the motor is a little loud, but comparable to other swings out there.

Died after 1 month July 18, 2009 Reviewer:  Annoyed Shopper See all my reviews >

This has been my second swing. (First was the FP Precious Planets) We owned it for a month before the music started to cut out and die, then the mobile died, then finally the motor died. We had to return this swing. We have opted to try another FP swing...we'll see how that goes. FYI you can find this swing cheaper at other retailers.

Lifesaver! July 10, 2009 Reviewer:  Smikey (Minnesota)  See all my reviews >

We bought this swing out of desperation when our daughter was 2 weeks old-she hated the other swing we had and the bouncy chair. But she immediately loved this swing and continues to! I love the fact that we can change the seat position to grow with her. I noticed the swing seemed to be going a bit too fast at first, but it is easy to slow down by hanging a blanket off the end like the instruction manual states. After 2 months, we still have the original batteries in it. Wish we had bought it right away!
