I disagree with the other reviewer who doesn't even have this toy and yet rated it one star because they found the idea of it "unsanitary". I can't get my my son to stop scooping up bath water and drinking it! Gross, I know, but he'll have a strong immune system when he's older. Anyway, I'd rather he play with this toy! I think it's a fantastic idea ...educational and fun.

My three year old daughter plays these flutes all of the time - in and out of the bath. She loves adding more water and the pouring it out to make the sound change. She got them for a present over a year ago and she's played with them ever since. Fortunately, they make a nice tone and aren't too loud.

I also disagree with the person who thought this toy to be unsanitary. Both of my boys love the flutes and play with them constantly - in and out of the water. This is a fabulous idea and provides hours and hours of fun and musical education. The Alex tub flutes were a present but I would re-buy them any day!

I don't own this, but I just have to say that putting a toy into dirty bathwater,and then letting your child put it to their mouth just seems very disgusting. Great concept, but doesn't work!
