I bought this as a gift for a six year old great-grandchild who loves ballet. She loved the box, but it ha had to be repaired multiple times. The hinges pulled loose and the liner pulled away from the box.

I would not recommend this product - it is the worst child's jewelry box I have ever purchased.

this jewelry box was a disappointment. Not as large as expected. Its pretty small. Doesn't seem very durable. Opened it to look at it and there was a scratch on the top. Not worth the price. Will return it and buy one somewhere else.

My little girl (5 years old) asked for a jewelry box for her birthday, so I ordered this one. She didn't play rough with it at all, just opened and closed it a few times and wound it up to hear the music play. By the end of the first day, the ballerina was already broken and wouldn't spin anymore, and the wind-up key was stuck, so it wouldn't play music. The box itself also seemed very flimsy and would have probably been broken in a matter of days. I returned it to the store for a refund.

I bought this jewelry box, as a Christmas present for my daughter. I noticed right away when I received it, that it's not as large (nor as sturdy) as the ones I've had in the past. And the interior is just cheaply lined in flimsy faux velvet. For the price, I wouldn't really recommend it. It's a shame how they make things so poorly these days and charge an arm and a leg for it. It's flashy though, so I'm sure my little girl will still like it.

I purchased two Iridescnt Ballerina Jewelry Boxes for my girls as Christmas presents. This was my third choice. The first two choices would ship until after Christmas and not in stores. It is cute but not a "wow" product. My my girls will love it.

The box is the perfect size for little girls. The design is ok. That is why I gave it only a 4 star. But I don't expect the boxes to last forever or be heirlooms:)! For the price, get it for your daughter. If your girls are 6 or older, I would purchase one of the other boxes - bigger ones for $24.xx.
