I bought this RipStik for my son, who is turning 12 in a few days. We gave it to him this evening, a little bit early, and he was able to get going within 5 minutes.
The board comes with an instructional DVD. [...]
Anyway, he loves it. Me, I tried it a few times but don't seem to have the same balance and coordination. But I learned Heely's, Rollerblades and skateboards so this shouldn't be too much more challenge for this 40 year old kid.

my friends from camp ALL have one and it is my birthday in 2 days! I ride all my friends' and I LOVE IT! It takes a while to get it, but it is so much more fun than a bike or scooter or a regular skateboard!
It only took me 30 min. to learn! EVERYONE SHOULD LEARN!!!!!

i love the ripstick i dont have one but i use my bf and it is awesome i love it .... it toke me like 2 days to get it but now i could ride for about 3 hours with out stopping.. i think everyone should learn how to do it

The rip stick is amazing i got it yesterday and its so cool i have not got a chance to go out and ride it but even just trying to stand on it was so easy. I recomand this to everyone. One tip is to watch the dvd first because it will help you a lot also go onto youtube and there are so many helpful videos.

The Ripstick is awesome!!!!!!!! It took me like 30 min. to master!I have had one for a year now and its still in perfect working condition. In a year you might have to replace the wheels. That is the only maintence it needs!!!!!!!!!!

This brand new item is totally cool and fun to ride! It takes learning and stability to have the talent to ride. It is super easy to learn to ride if you go to website and click on "How to Ride". If you are looking for an enviroment friendly way to get around ride on with the new Ripstik!!!!

I love this ripstick my friends all have one and im saving my money to get one the difference between the ripstick g and the normal ripstick is that the riptick g can grind . It takes a little while to learn how to ride it. I would recomend riding it on a sidewalk. Do not get discouarged if you cannt do it yet it took me a while but im so glad i didnt gove up a must have
