The ripstik is very fun in the beginning, but starts to get kinda old once you get used to the "no pushing with your foot" idea. It also has no brake, and trying to gain speed is somewhat difficult because of the chance of loosing control of the board due to the constant rocking. And you can only pull off about 3 tricks on this unless you have the Ripstik G. Which is made for grinding. You can kickflip, ollie, manual, and nose manual. And you can't even go over curbs with this thing. And turning sharply is difficult because sometimes the wheels don't turn correctly, resulting with you loosing balance, and falling on your backside. I would not recommend this is a friend. I'm switching back to my old skateboard.

My daughter loves this RipStik! She is the envy of the neighborhood with her pink one- since the only way to get one in pink is to order it online. Now everyone wants one. It is nothing like a regular skateboard. A lot harder to learn to navigate. But once they do, they have a blast. It is good exercise and will help your child with coordination and balance. Highly recommeded.

I just bought this and it is absolutely amazing! I have ridden it all around my street. Although you must know:YOU CAN'T GO BACKWARDS!!!! I have done this a coupple of times already and I have gotten many scrapes and bruises. Buut overall it is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

I am getting one of these for my birthday because I rode my friends and it is awesome! It takes a while to do it, but you will get the hang of it. It took me like 10 minutes. This is far better than a scooter or a bike. The really cool thing is that you don't have to put your foot on the ground because you just swerve your rear foot. It is so fun to ride around my neighborhood! Get one if you can! All my friends already have one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am getting one of these amazing sk8boards. All of my friends have one and I have been dying to get one! Everytime I go to my friend's house, I ride it. It took a bit of time and patience but I am telling you, it is worth it. The price is a bit pricy but it will be worth it!

omg is 14 and i got one for xams and so did my to twin brother (8) they taught me how to do it in like an hour at least it rock and impossible to fall off u just walk off really also the wheel are like shopping cart wheels which make it fun cuz u can go in whatever direction!!! BUY IT NOW!!! hehehe

Its hard to ride at first but then it gets easy. i was holding on to a bike going down the road and went on a ramp and it does it all!

the rip sticks r awsome . they work so well god they r so much better than the wave bords those r carpy my friends bork after 2 weeks it suked and pluse ripsticks r a hole lot bigger than a wave bord

It wouldn't matter what color, all RipStiks are fun. My kids have spent hours using them. The color made it more fun for my girls. They felt special because there are not that many available around the city in that color.
