It is very cute and looks exactly as it does in the online picture...and I agree, it looks great with red/burgundy sheet!!

I'm unsure why one reviewer said the picture did not portray the real thing. It absolutely does! It's a very beautiful comforter set. Very classy. I do wish however it would have came with a sheet set or was advertised with a sheet set. I want black sheets and they are harder to find than you think.
Overall I highly recommend this set! Beautiful!

I would highly recommend seeing it before you purchase it. It does not look like the picture. I think it looks good, but not what I expected.

I just received this bed as a shower gift. I love it! We bought some really nice red sheets to go with it, and our new bed is being delivered this week. It was exactly what I expected, and I think it will look great with some red accents. Very happy with this gift!

I searched and searched for a black and white comforter set for my daughter's room and finally decided on this one and when it arrived I was very dissappointed because it looks so CHEAP, the black design looks as if it was drawn on and there were lots of loose strings everywhere. Even the material seemed cheap. I know for some people the price seems cheap but for me [the price] should get you better quality than that. I returned it to the store and bought [a different set].

My boyfriend just bought this comforter for us and its amazing!! It is soo beautiful. The pattern is bigger than it looks on here! Its really white which is great because all i have found besides this one have been silver and black. its really comfy too!! Soft Cottony feel to it.

I put this comforter on my Christmas list and LOVE it! Everyone is crazy about it! Only problem is that my dogs love it too! I didn't even know that my Chihuahua I've had for 2 years could jump up on my bed until I got this! She's snuggled under it ALL the time. Now the dogs love it so much they're crowding us out of the bed!

I received this item just a few days ago and was very disappointed. Rather than black and white, the colors are black and cream or ivory. This makes the comforter look less bold, almost aged. Also, the design is much larger than one would expect from looking at the photo. It doesn't appear to follow a pattern as shown in the picture either. And finally, the bedskirt has velvet on it, despite the fact that there is no velvet elsewhere on the item; it doesn't seem to match at all. Needless to say, I've already returned the item. [...]

Ok, I'm always dubious about ordering comforters online because it's difficult to tell what the exact colors are. They always seem to differ in person. This one is not white though it is close, just off-white. You can tell simply by putting something white against the comforter. Overall, I'm quite pleased with this comforter though! It just arrived today and I haven't had a chance to have it dry cleaned yet, so I cannot say if it fades or not. As a previous rater mentioned, the print is inked onto the fabric rather than a part of it, so it might not be timeless but we'll see. The comforter is also thinner than any I've previously purchased, though I think with a blanket it'll work for Colorado winters. I hope that I will be able to use it in the summers too since it is so thin. That's why I didn't give it five stars even though I am wildly in love with the bold graphic print. I think it's a great transitional piece because the print is traditional, but so large that it works beautifully with my more contemporary furniture. Also, the underside of the comforter has a lighter beige on cream print which is kind of like getting two comforters in one! I was very pleasantly surprised. If you like bold prints, you really should consider this.

I purchased this comforter about 9 months ago and I still love it. Contrary to what many of the apparently color blind reviewers said, it is WHITE and black, and looks so great paired with black furniture. The black has faded slightly as i have washed it a few times, but this is great for someone right out of college and in their first apartment like myself.
