THE best thing since sliced bread!

I LOVE this thing! I'm 3 months pregnant and had to travel with a 10 month old. Couldn't have done it without this. We have a Britax Marathon and my husband was assigned to read the instructions. We didn't open the box until the day before our trip and once we got to the airport, it was a blessing! I got so many envious stares as we zoomed through the airport as other parents lugged their carseats and kids seperately. It went right through the x-ray machine still attached and (with the red gate check bag) gave us no problems when it was time to gate check it. We never took it apart until we got to the car and my husband gave me a 2-minute course in putting it together on the curb side when we took our return flight. Now I have the confidence (and tools) to fly by myself in a few months.

We've used this thing on two trips now with my son's Britax Boulevard carseat, and it has worked great. It goes on pretty easily (it takes a moment to screw in the two big screws, but the instalation is very easy to figure out), rolls great, and is easy to stow in the overhead compartment once you take it off the carseat on the plane. People always comment about it in the airport.

Great product, better than sit-n-stroll!

This was a lifesaver on a recent trip with our one-year-old. It mounted easily on both our car seats (we have the Graco ComfortSport and the Britax Marathon). Plus, it isn't bulky like the sit-n-stroll so it was very easy to move around. We loved that we could just remove it and install the car seat in the airplane and in the car.
Mounting this takes about one minute once you figure out where on the car seat it needs to go. It's a little tedious because the screws are really long, but I suppose that's safer.
Another bonus - you can pull the car seat on this, but the handle is strong enough that you can also PUSH the car seat (great for if you're also pulling luggage). Our son loved looking forward as I pushed him.
Because of its slim design, it was also a cinch to get through security - just took out baby, collapsed the handle and through the screener it went. Easy!
Worth every penny because you can use it on almost any car seat!

We purchased the gogo kidz Travelmate for our trip over the Holidays. After reading the reviews, I disagree with the negative feedback. I could not find a problem with this product as far as it being difficult or a pain to take on and off the car seat. With a few practice runs, my husband and I were able to take it on and off with no problems at all. We were relaxed through our trip because we were not hassled with lugging our son and car seat along with 5 pieces of luggage. Our son loved being strolled with the gogo kidz travelmate and his car seat which made our airport check in and security check pleasant. I would say to practice a few times attaching the gogo kidz travelmate before you leave for your trip so you are prepared.

if you travel more than just a couple of times with your car seat, this item is well worth the price. It is very easy to install (at least to our britax roundabout), it rolls smoothly as you race from gate to gate with baby strapped in and it doesn't interfere with normal operation of the car seat when you hop in a cab, family car or rental car on arrival. every parent struggling with a car seat strap, cover or backpack asks us where we got ours. It also takes up very little space when not in use.

I was a little hesitant at first to get yet another baby gear product, and after reading a few of the negative reviews here, I definitely did a little more research, Target is helpful in more than just product selection :) I have the maxi cosi Priori and a 1 year old. I recently went to visit family back in toronto and the Travelmate was a god sent!!! It can take a little practice to get the connection smooth especially when my little squirmer is in the seat, but so worth it! Changing terminals in o'hare and then wheeling it through pearson, the travelmate made it so incredibly easy and worth the money. I got harrased by parents and even the customs agent about what and where to get it. It worked great on my Maxi Cosi without a problem.

We have used every piece, every way we can think of and this is not a fit for the Maxi Cosi Priori, despite manufacturer's claim. Car seat repeatedly falls off the gogo.

I bought this for a trip with my 1-year-old (nonwalker), to avoid having to tote a stroller and her car seat through the airport. I admit that it is easier to lug one less piece of equipment around, but it is a real pain to attach a Britax carseat to this thing (other brands use different attachments, so may be easier???). You have to tilt the seat forward (usually with child in it, if they can't walk yet) to screw it together. This was difficult to do by myself after taking my daughter out of the car or off the plane. Carseat doesn't fit down the aisle of a plane, even if not attached to this wheelie, so you also have to carry your child, carseat, this thing and any other carry-ons down the aisle of the plane. On my return flight, I decided to check the seat/travelmate at the gate (like a stroller) and kept my daughter on my lap - much easier, and it was waiting for us when we exited the plane. It does fit through X-ray machines while attached to the carseat, which was a plus. My experience would have likely been much different if traveling with my husband, but by myself, with a child who can't walk (or stand unassisted while I assembled), this was not very helpful. I don't recommend it for single-parent trips.

We bought this about 4 years ago for my first son and have used it numerous times for both boys. My husband is a pilot and first saw it in an airport and stopped the lady to ask what it was. Since then, everytime we have used it we are asked where to get it! It is so easy to attach the carseat (we have a Britax Roundabout); it takes maybe two minutes once you figure out the proper place. We use ours by pushing it in front of us, while the other arm pulls our bag behind us but it can also be pulled. When we get on the plane, we just lower the handle and it's all set. We've just lent ours to friends who are taking it on a 3 leg vacation and I'm confident it will be a lifesaver for them. I'm surprised about the negative reviews, we don't have one bad thing to say about this product.

The Go Go Kidz Travelmate was extremely helpful for my family. My husband, 14 month old, and myself flew from Dallas to Philadelphia, then from Philadelphia to Barcelona. We used this at the airport as a stroller so we didn't have to bring a stroller. It was also nice to be able to bring our own car seat to use while in Europe instead of renting one that is full of germs. I highly recommend this purchase.
