I have been sleeping on a Sobakawa pillow for over 10 years now & have difficulties sleeping with 'normal pillows', too many neck issues. Anyway, I knew it was time for a new one and was thrilled to find it so easily, wish it were in store but it's not popular enough to keep in stock.
Thank you Target for still carrying this pillow, the price is very reasonable, delivery was great too; I will order from again if they still carry (I hope) when another is needed.

I bought one of these pillows over 10 years ago and mine finally fell apart. I have so much trouble sleeping on anything else that I bring mine with me wherever I go. It takes some getting used to but once you give it time, you will not sleep on anything else. I actually get head and neck aches if I sleep on anything else.

On my many trips to Japan I slept on a sobakawa pillow and it was the best pillow I've ever used. I ordered my pillow in high expectations. These pillows do not have the entire hull but seem to be filled with shavings of hulls. I'm managing and it's better than other things I've tried, but it does not approach the quality of sleep you get when you have the entire hull for the stuffing. You also have to learn to use the pillow, which does allow you create the height most comfortable to your head. Still, the entire hulls offer better adjustments.

Several years ago I purchased this pillow for myself and husband, we coudln't get used to sleeping on it. Our daughter, then 13 years old, tried the day we gave up and has never slept on any other pillow since. She is now 18 years old and has taken two to college.

I just got my Sobakawa pillows and I've never slept better. I just wish I'd known about them years ago. I've always thought that people who traveled with their pillows from home were rather silly, but now I'm going to be one of them because I'm getting spoiled by these.

I wish I knew about this pillow years ago!! I fall asleep quickly & wake up refreshed!! No neck, leg or back pains anymore. I would highly recommend this pillow to anyone.

I saw this pillow at a kiosk vendor when I was 8 years old with my grandma one november. For some reason, I wanted one really bad. I forgot about it until I opened a box from my aunt and uncle. It was a little difficult to adjust to the sound of crunching grain hulls in my ear, but it was so comfortable that I learned to love it as a sign of impending sound sleep.

I'm now 24 and have been using the same pillow. It works still, and I love it... but since it can't be washed, it's absorbed all of the oil from my face since I was a teenager, occasional spills, etc., and really could stand to be replaced.

I've also just bought an entirely new bed, mattresses, 800 cnt egyptian cotton sheets, etc. etc. from [a department store] and thought it was about time I throw out all these pillows I've had since I've been a kid (which, other than the sobakawa, were hand me downs and probably almost as old as my mother). Let's just say I'm unbelievable excited for my new ones to arrive.

I just love this pillow! I wish i knew about this years ago. I have no more neck pains and and I feel good as new when i wake up. I would recomend this pillow to anyone who needs a new comtforable pillow.

I received this pillow a couple of days ago thinking it would be 20 x 15" as advertised. The size is closer to a travel pillow! I ordered it because I have had one for a while, so I purchased one for a friend. I am very disappointed with this purchase. I trusted Target, this was my first purchase and probably my last!
