My daughter loves the dresser in this set. We are currently re-decorating her room so we still need the headbord, sidetable, and mirror. We are also looking for a desk that wil match. But, my daughter absolutely adores this dresser and I have to admit I do too. It is durable enough for a teenager but I must disagree with SteveH because my daughter holds her television on the left corner of the dresser and we have had no trouble. These peices of furniture are a deal and I think they will be perfect for the teen boy or girl of today.

Great looking and a great value

The instructions were great, very easy to follow. The only thing I would add is to use a rubber mallet, or something similar to make sure the drawers are snug when assebling. This will GREATLY affect the final look of the piece. I also put cedar blocks in each drawer for a fresher scent.
The set looks wonerful, functions well, and should last for years if you're gentle with it.

This is great looking stuff, if light duty. Don't plan on storing anything heavier than clothing in it, as the drawer bottoms are heavy duty cardboard. If used as a TV stand or to support other heavy objects, you will need to reinforce it or bracket it to the wall to keep it from sagging or toppling. It is designed and manufactured by a subsidiary of Thomasville/Broyhill/Lane furniture, so it benefits from professional design and engineering. It has good drawer slides that should give long service.
Assembly was easy, with great instructions. It seems like an oxymoron to use the words precision and particleboard in the same sentence, but this product is about as flawless as it gets. I assembled the 6 drawer dresser (3 hours), the nightstand (1 1/4 hour), and the 4 drawer chest (2 1/2 hours). Persons who do not use a screwdriver at least once a week should add 50% to these times.
If you don't beat it up of get it wet, this KD (knockdown) furniture should give you budget performance with great looks.
