I recommend this anyone, especially if you remember the ones we had in the sixties. I wanted to be able to get more exercise. My "old" bike is still around, but I didn't want to ride it. I was 8 when I received it.
Anyway, I saw this one which resembles it and had to have it. I'm still getting used to the 7 speeds, but am building up to it. I ride every morning just a short distance until I get my stamina built back up. We live in the country with lots of hills and slight sloping roads.
I recommend this bike to anyone who wants to get out there and cruise along.

I gave this bike 1 star due to it's great apperance! I puchased this bike less then a month ago. I was very attracted to the appearance instantly when seen on disply. I purchased the bike with high hopes of getting out and about and enjoying my summer. Fist day I brought it home the tire popped due to rim damage. Then I had to take it back and wait a WEEK for target to repair the bike. Never happended. My Friend had to go in there and swap the tire himself! Yes in target repairing a bike because they wanted me to wait another week. So I get it home and there are missing bolts and the chain is clanking.. THE BEST.. THERE IS RUST!! Yes Rust on the shiney finder! This is a buyer BEWARE!!!

I got this bike for my birthday. I picked this one because I love pink and thought at my age (38) maybe a Cruiser would be more comfy than a 10-speed or mountain bike. I love the look of the bike, but when my husband brought it home and I tried to ride it, I realized maybe a cruiser isn't for me. I guess I have always had a bike with straight handlebars where your arms are kind of straight and you lean forward a little on the bike. Well these handlebars are so huge and turned in, I felt like I was driving a bus. I felt strange with my arms in the position they were in, and almost unsteady while riding. I am not the most coordinated person, nor am I a great bike rider, so I'm sure it was all me and what I am used to. I thought the look and quality of the bike was great. I got the bike yesterday, and am planning on returning to our Local Target store today. I am going to get the Schwinn Ranger Mountain Bike instead. It looks more like the type of bike I am used to riding. My husband thought this bike looked like a Pee-Wee Herman bike and couldn't believe I wanted it. I didn't realize the handlebars were so crazy from the online pic. I guess if I would have went to store in person to pick it out, I would have noticed. I will report back after hopefully getting the Ranger Mountain Bike.

This is a very pretty bike. The first one I had (received as a gift) was not assembled very well. The retailer was quick to exchange it for another one. Second one has no problems at all. And I must say it really is a nice bike for those easy around town rides. Very comfortable seat as well as position on the handlebars. I have added a basket to the handlebars for those essentials we need when out & about. And on the back I installed a bike rack with another big square basket for my little fur babies to ride in. I am most pleased with this bike. You can compare it to the bikes that sell for $. To $. At specialty bike shops. I get stopped all the time because my bike is so beautiful. This cruiser is a winner.

Looks can be deceiving...

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE **DO NOT** buy this bike! It's adorable but looks can be deceiving. It isn't safe. First of all, it only has one brake. What happens if that brake fails? Second of all as I was test riding it in an aisle in the store the chain fell off. I didn't even switch gears!
Also, the fenders were already rusting inside the store and they were very loose. If you're going to spend some money on a bike, go to a bike shop. PLEASE!

I hate having to walk my bike home!

I bought this bike because I thought it was - or IS- the coolest bike EVER! It looks like a vintage bike, but has the benefit of being new. You take what you get if you buy it at the store because it's put together by whatever teenagers work in the bike department. The real problem, though? You can't ride this bike up any hills!!!! It has 7 gears, and they change nicely, but even the slightest incline is extremely difficult to go up. Forget about hills completely. I always have to walk it home. So sad.

This is a cute bike, not very high in quality though! I am super dissapointed and would like to tell you all to look at it in the store before you purchase it, maybe ride it around the store. Not very comfortable and definately overpriced! I would pay maybe $50 for this, MAYBE! Mine is being returned as we speak!

It is the cutest bike and it rides well. The large seat has shocks which make it very comfortable. It is easy to ride. My brakes needed to be tighten but overall all I would recommend this bike. I plan on doing a lot of riding on this bike it not only looks cool it rides well too. I plan on taking this bike to Santa Cruz and try it out. It is a great bike ..
