really enjoy this bike. some of the other reviews commented on parts being loose which is an issue that can easily be updates. overall i would recommend this if you are looking for the cruiser style and like having the speed combo. that was the reason i purchased this particular one since i tow my son and needed something more appropriate

I saw this bike online and loved it, but at my local target they didn't have it, or much of a selection at all. I went against my judgement and bought a different "plain" grey cruiser, since i wanted a bike right away, and went i got it home i looked online again longingly at this beauty, i found out that they did have it available at another target a little farther away, and immediately took my cruiser back to exchange for it. This bike is not only beautiful, truly vintage looking, but it has a comfy seat, good handlebar position and rides well, i hadn't ridden a bike in at least 15 yrs or so, but it was very easy to get right on this one and start riding! I even rode it right out of the store, oh and i had to buy a matching pink helmet! i can't wait to attach a trailer to the back to tote my little boys in. i would highly recommend this bike to anyone looking for one, and especially anyone who loves pink like i do!

I bought this bike a few weeks ago and absolutely love it. I have been pulling a trailer with my two toddlers in it on snowy roads in the Midwest and this bike works great. I really love it. The fenders do rattle but as other reviewers have said, they can be adjusted with a wrench.
Great buy.

my parents bought this bike for me as a birthday present and i use it mainly for navigating around campus (i'm in college). i love it, but it is very uncomfortable sometimes. my lower back tends to hurt and i can't ride it for more than 10-15 minutes at a time due to the hills on campus and how dang uncomfortable the bike is. it also rains a lot and i noticed that the bike started to rust after about a day of rain. now i keep it inside my dorm, which is a hassle because the bike is kind of heavy for me. my dad also had to lower the seat so i could reach the pedals (i'm 5'2) and lower the handlebars so i wouldn't add more pressure to my lower back. the one good thing i can say about the bike is that it serves the purpose that i bought it for and i get compliments on it all the time.

I absolutely LOVE this bike! I purchased it six months ago, at the beginning of summer, at my local Target store. I had been eyeing it for weeks, and finally, it being the last one left, I bought it and loaded it myself into my car. When I arrived home, I road it for an hour and a half. Even my brother and boyfriend wanted to try out my girly pink bike! I've received so many compliments on it, from guys and girls. It's also really comfy. It's obviously not a mountain bike, so if you want a bike to ride over hilly areas or for a long period of time, this isn't for you. I haven't experienced any kind of knee or back pain (other than the initial soreness from not riding a bike in a while), and I've rode almost everyday since I've bought it. I would definently recommend this AMAZING bike!!!

Let me start by saying that if you purchase this, you will have the best looking bike on the block. This is the most comfortable bike I have ever owned. The handle bars are adjustable as is the seat. Cruising on this pink beauty is the most wonderful biking experience I have ever had! Last but not least, it is a Schwinn - nuf said!

I love this bike! It looks so cute all in pink so cute in fact I'm having trouble sending it back. I was thrilled to get it and had no problems adjusting the seat. The bike is very uncomfortable. I've never owned the Schwinn brand and I don't know if I every will. My mom and dad have two cheap crusier type bikes and they ride much much better than this more expensive and better brand bike. I want the bike to work so much! It feel unsteady and cheap. And I also had trouble with my knees when I got off from riding for just a few minutes. I ride my old bike all the time and for long periods of time but even with seat adjustments it was not a pleasant ride. Unfortunatly I have to rate this bike on the low side. I had no problems with the seat and fender issues others had they were an easy fix.

I just bought this bike this afternoon and I love it! I went for a 2 mile cruise as soon as I got it out of the car! The gears shift smoothly, and the bike rides smooth as well. The only reason I didn't give the bike 5 stars is because the fenders rattle a bit, and I will have to have my dad re-fit them to the mounting, no big deal, I just don't have the tool to do it myself. My friend owns this bike as well and she had the same problem, she had the fenders re-fitted and they quit making so much noise! This does not take away from the safety or the look of the bike, I HIGHLY reccommend this bike, just a minor engineering defect I suppose. All you need is the right size crescent wrench. For those who are afraid of knee pain from the other reviews of the bike, all I have to say is that the seat is adjustable, and I have a bad left knee and I had no stress at all from the bike, PLUS there are 7 gears to change to and from. You can't touch another Schwinn cruiser to this bikes caliber for less than $235 bucks. SO it is VERY worth the price!

I bought this bike on Friday Aug 24, 2007. I loved it. I'm generally not a "pink" person, but this was so over-the-top, I had to have it. And I could afford it. I rode Saturday morning and loved it. I rode Sunday morning and started having second thoughts. I rode Monday after work and then returned it.
As emotionally captivating as this bike is, I give it only one star because it is an Ergonomic Disaster. (And now I notice someone else has reported knee pain as well, I should have read that earlier.) Look at the main upright post that holds the seat up, it is way too vertical, making the seat sit too forward, which causes stress above your knee. (taking ibuprophen now)
The handlebars did not work for me either. I like that they are up high in a comfortable position, however the ends where you hold on should be flared out more. As they are now they create tension on your upper-inside forearm. After a couple days of riding I noticed it wasn't only my forearms but now my shoulders were getting sore from trying to compensate.
I REALLY love the way the bike looks, but when you're doing something that's good for your health, it shouldn't be hurting you. Schwinn should know better.
Other than the ergonomic issues, it functions great, shifts smooth, I love the 7 speed - it's so easy to use I don't know why anybody needs 18 & 21 speeds, that just seems silly. Oh, the fenders are cheap & flimsy. (So since I can't be without a bike, I went this morning and got a Schwinn Searcher, not nearly as cool looking but I think we'll have a long, happy relationship.)

Cute bike - a bit of knee stress

This bike is great! Here are the pros and cons:
Pro - super cute, lots of compliments.
Pro- You can put a super cute basket on the front. I went to a fancy bike store and you can buy a basket that has a hole to fit the spring or sit the basket on top of the spring.
Pro - Pulls my 2 daughters in their bike trailer perfect.
Con - On 4th ride out the rear tire blew out. Luckily it blew out in front of 2 Mormons, who quickly repaired it. Buy a repair kit to play it safe.
Con- Some knee pressure, I moved the seat back, might be because of the bike trailer!
