These bags rip too easily

These bags are horrible! When I need to use my reserves that are stored in our deep freezer, I usually thaw about 3 bags at a time. Everytime at least 1 of the bags has a hole or rip in it and I lose between 1-4 ounces of milk at a time. Since my milk supply is slowly dwindling, the breastmilk that I do have is like liquid gold and I cannot afford to even lose an ounce. I have about 30 unused bags left and I will be throwing them out and I am on my way to Target to buy another brand. I would NOT recommend these bags to anyone who is going to be freezing their milk!

I've been using these for months & love them! This is a great product. It's a real space saver if you are trying to build up a supply since you can lay it flat to store. Also your milk thaws very quickly under hot running water when you've freezed it flat. Also, I haven't had any problems with leaks like others have. I make sure to leave extra space in the bag when I store it in the freezer since liquid expands as it freezes and haven't had a problem yet. I highly recommend this product to all breastfeeding moms!

If you value your breastmilk don't use these

I read all the reviews and saw that there were quite a few bad one's for these bags but decided to go with them anyway b/c I thought they felt like the best quality. I just began to thaw after freezing for about 3 months and I am so disappointed. I could deal with a leaky bag here and there but I am thawing four everyday and at least one has a hole in it. The one tonight was practically ripped down the middle. Breastmilk is like liquid gold in this house and I am so upset to see this happening, especially b/c I have a deep freezer full of it, all in these bags. So stay away, I tried the gerber ones too and those work! Hope this helps, please stay away from them.

I have been pumping and storing extra milk when my son was 3-6 months old. I only use Lansinoh bags to store and they are great space savers because you can freeze it flat. Now that he's 8 months and my milk reserve is getting low, I am now using the reserves. It LEAKS EVERYTIME I thaw them out. It's not just dripping, it's like there's 1-2cm hole and my precious milk is gushing out. The leaks are usually at the bottom of the bag. Today, I just lost about one ounce of milk from my 5oz bag. I'm so mad!!

I like this storage bag the best. I tried the Medela, but they just don't compare. Lansinoh's bags have extra space so that you can store the bag flat. This is extremely helpful when you have a lot of milk to store. Takes up much less space! Wish I knew this from the beginning.

These bags are the absolute best. I also have tried many different brands and have never had a single problem with the Lansinoh bags. They are super-thick and double sealed. They fit perfectly into the Playtex Drop In bottles. Worth the money.

the best bags out there. i have tried them all! unfortunatley our son would not latch on due to many reasons ranging from lack of instruction at hospital and being told our son was tounge tied (which he wasn't) therefore i have been pumping since day one. i have three freezers full of milk stored in laninoh bags. others tend to leak and they are not as thick. i am a pro at storing breastmilk. lansinoh is the only way to go!

Worth Every Penny

Like many of the other reviewers, I tried lots of products. With my first son I would just store it in the bottle system but found that took up to much space. With my second one now I first tried the Gerber bags. They too took up a lot of room because I only felt confortable standing them up; thus forming a solid block. I switched to these and will never go back.
Lansinoh bags are thicker than any other bag, have a double zipper (for extra protection), and you can lay them flat (to create more room and faster thawing). I have not worried once about my milk in these bags; they are worth every penny.

I am a working mom that is breastfeeding twins. I was using the gerber bags until I starting thawing the milk and had many leaks and many times I had to discard milk. What a waste of my precious liquid gold! These are about the same price and work much better. None of the bags accurately measure your milk-- so measure before you use.
