Best Breastmilk Storage Bags September 19, 2007 Reviewer:  New Mommy (Florence, SC)  See all my reviews >

I have tried other brands and this is the best. Other brands are harder to pour your milk into. Those of you pumping your hearts out like me, know that losing one drop is a tragedy. They have a double zipper safeguard. I have not had any problems with this product.

These work great for me September 18, 2007 Reviewer:  Katie Wilson Real Name See all my reviews >

I've used over 100 of these bags since I returned to work 3 months ago, and I have been extremely pleased with them. Admittedly, I have not tried any other brand, because these are the cheapest, and they work great.

It's true that the volume markers on the side are quite inaccurate. After all, it's a flexible container, so the height of the liquid will depend on the shape of the bag. Just use the volume indicator on the pump bottle. No matter what brand of bag you choose, that will be the more accurate measurement.

I have not had a single one of these bags leak. I freeze mine flat, then store them in a plastic box so that the edges don't get bumped. All breastmilk storage bags will tend to get brittle when frozen, and if bumped will break and leak. So no matter what brand you buy, make sure to protect them in your freezer.

waste of money September 9, 2007 Reviewer:  new mom "eml" (middleton,nh)  See all my reviews >

I also bought these bags thinking they were good bags until I defrosted them. The first bag that leaked I thought was a fluke then every bag I defrosted leaked. The Medela and First Years bags are bunch better and I have not had a leaking bag problem since. Your breastmilk is percious so don't bother wasting your money on these bags.

Good Quality Product August 29, 2007 Reviewer:  NewMomAfter15yrs "H Dee H" (Atlanta, Ga)  See all my reviews >

I started off using the Gerber bags they were okay. They were kind of thin, had only 1 zip-lock seal and I had trouble writing on the bags... When I ran out I tried the Lansinoh bags & I REALLY like them (better than the Gerber bags). I like that they have the pre-sterilization seal on them, the double zip-lock and the thickness of the bags... And the area to write on is great! I also use the Lansinoh Lanolin on my nipples when they are dry or cracked (Tip: This also works on dry chapped lips too!)

Good bags - never leak! August 25, 2007 Reviewer:  Sally "Sally H" (Tempe, AZ)  See all my reviews >

I am a working mother and pump @ work 2-3 times a day, and I have never had any problems w/ these bags. I love the double zip and that I can write the date and amount! You just have to make sure that you know how much you are putting in the bag BEFORE you put your milk in it. If you read the directions, it tells you that once the milk is in the bag, it's not as accurate. That is why you write it on the outside of the bag before you store it. I have put these bags in the fridge and freezer and they only take mins to defrost under warm water. I haven't used any other bags, and I have never had any bags leak on me. I do have the Avent storage containers, and those are okay, but they take longer to defrost because the plastic containers are so thick.

only bags I trust August 18, 2007 Reviewer:  Jul See all my reviews >

I love these bags. They have never leaked for me, but I only put 3.5 ounces in them. These bags are a much better alternative to storing milk in bottles. They take up less room and only take a minute to thaw under warm water. I don't trust any other bag for my precious breastmilk!

O.K. Bags August 18, 2007 Reviewer:  New Mom 07 "shanellda H" (Macon, GA)  See all my reviews >

I use these bags and I like the features: write on tab; pour spout; self standing; double zipper seal and flat storage to use less space. However, I had 2 bags out of 25 to leak...they leak around the bottom zipper. So before I freeze my bags I turn them upside down to check for leakage. I haven't thawed any out so I can't comment on that area.

works just fine August 10, 2007 Reviewer:  E. Hoffer Real Name See all my reviews >

i use these bags to store milk in the fridge and freezer and think they work great. it's so much faster to warm milk in a bag than a bottle. only complaint is that the estimated # of ounces shown on the bag is very inaccurate. you have to check the # of ounces before putting the milk in the bag.

Great bags! August 8, 2007 Reviewer:  Proud Parent of a 6 month old "CNT" (TN)  See all my reviews >

I really like these bags a lot! I have tried them all and you can't get a better bag for the price! I tend to drop the bags every now and again and the Gerber bags always busted on me. These are nice and thick! My baby is 6 months now and I work full time so I pump while I am at work three times a day. I use a lot of bags and I won't buy any others. I don’t think there is anything I dislike about the Lansinoh bags except I wish they had a bigger pack than the 50 count.

I tried several other brands, and these are the best August 2, 2007 Reviewer:  Julia in STL (St. Louis, MO, USA)  See all my reviews >

I am a working mom. I pump twice a day at work and store the breastmilk in the freezer at home for daycare. Having tried several brands of storage bags, I found that I liked these the best. They are easy to fill, have a double zip-lock, and are made of a soft plastic. I have stored them flat and upright and have never had a problem with leaks or breakage.

I started out using the Medela storage bags, but they are twice as expensive as Gerber and Lansinoh. The Medela bags are a stiff plastic, the Lansinoh and Gerber bags are a soft plastic. Bags that are soft are easier to defrost because you can massage the milk around. The Medela bags do take longer to defrost. The Gerber bags do not have the double zip-lock system and are slightly more expensive than Lansinoh.

I did have one defective Lansinoh bag. It had a hole in it- obviously a manufacturing problem. I e-mailed Lansinoh, and within 1 week they sent me a new box of bags, plus a sample of Lansinoh baby wipes, and a box of nursing pads. You can't argue with great customer service.
