I bought 1 of these bars, along with 2 of the extra long bars for my 72 year old mother because she has 2 knee replacements and arthritis, and has a hard time with balancing herself. I always hope she is safe when taking a shower. I was going to get a contractor to come in and put in permanent safety bars in the shower for her safety...but was worried that if they messed up somehow, they would ruin the tile. These bars are a miracle and so safe. The suction cups are sooo strong and big and VERY GOOD QUALITY. I am so glad I found them. They are easy to attach and they are very, very durable. I am so far 100% pleased. Whoever invented these...made a very great invention!!!

I bought this for my special needs son to help him step over the tub safely. It works well but you should regularly re-install the safety bar as it comes loose and falls every few weeks. As long as this is done there is no problem.
