had been looking for this color - NOT cheap - labeled as "stoneware" buts chips easily and very visible (WHITE)chips on (INDIGO BLUE) surface!

My experience with Target and this particular dish set has been a nightmare. I am not one to usually write reviews, but I would like other brides to be aware of my experience. I have been married and trying to complete my registry for 3 months. Target stores in the area never have this dish set in stock (and I am just trying to complete a 12 place setting). About 2 months ago I went online and ordered bowls, mugs, and salad plates. The salad plates finally arrived and looked terrible. They were a shade of bleached out blue and not the dark cobalt color you see. I am still waiting and will likely wait 3 months on my bowls and mugs to arrive. I do NOT consider this to be good service and do think Target should have made me aware of their stocking problems with this item when I registered (as they have with a few other items I registered for). So if I had it to do all over again I would get a boxed set of dishes and honestly would probably NOT register at Target, at least for dinnerware. The Target stores and its employees could care less about helping me resolve the matter. I am not a difficult bridezilla type. Really all I want is enough dinnerware that we can have friends over and not have to use paper bowls. As far as the dishes, the ones I have are nothing more than ok. I am careful to handle them with care, but in a months time 1 plate has already chipped. So that is something else to consider.

This collection is fantastic! They are very durable and attractive. I have three young children and they have survived them. I absolutely love the over-sized coffee mugs and the dipping bowls. Great collection for the money!

Registered for these dishes for my November wedding. My set is almost complete. I have had no trouble finding these dishes in-store in the Huntsville, AL area and also at several stores in Georgia. However, many of my wedding guests are from out of town, so they just ordered online. The gifts arrived at my house quickly. A few of the dishes arrived broken, but I took them to the Target store right down the street with my receipt for a very speedy refund. Replacements are on the way. The dishes do very well in the dishwasher and are gorgeous- I've had many compliments. Everything I've gotten has been exactly like the product pictured on the website. Since it is stoneware, there are minor variations in the design, but that's part of what makes them awesome.

I love the look but we bought service for 10 and half of the dinner plates and salad plates have broken or chipped. The mugs and bowls are fine.

I purchased the bowls and plates of this collection and have been sadly disappointed since I got them. The plates (not the bowls) have chipped very easily. It probably took about a month for the first one to chip. I purchased eight plates and now seven of them have unsightly white chips on the edges. I was very pleased with the color, but the performance was horrible. I am getting rid of them in a couple days and going with Corelle because of the 3 year no-chip warranty.

My husband picked these dishes out when we were registering for our wedding. We both loved the dark blue stoneware look. Year and a half later, not a single chip or break! They've lasted great and we get compliments on them all the time. Defiantly recommend them!

I absolutely love these dishes! They are similar to ones in higher priced dept stores and are very versatile! They can be matched with just about any cobalt piece or pattern! Highly recommend them!
