Pros:
-Very fun
-Can play tunes with them
-Can use them in classrooms and with kids in general to signal the begining or end of an activity.
-nice colors, almost in rainbow order

Cons:
-The paint chips off of them relatively easily. All it takes is to bang the edge of one bell onto another bell to make a chip.
-The bells are ALMOST in rainbow color order, but not exactly. I wanted the kids in my class to perform the "Do Re Mi" song from the sound of music, and a rainbow song with these bells. It would have been so easy to have a purple instead of a light grean, and it would have been so easy to put not just half the bells but all the bells in rainbow color order: I don't know why they did not do that. Wish they had.

Our church was thrilled to find these handbells available through Target at a fraction of the cost of what we could find online. This is a hard to find item these days, it seems. They shipped right on time and our children's handbell choir is up and running and getting ready to ring in some happiness for the holidays and seniors.
