The only problem I have with this item is that it doesn't have an FM radio...but that is not too big of a problem since you can play your iPod on it. It is an ALARM CLOCK and and iPod player...it performs it's function...so I don't know how you can give it a bad review unless it doesn't do what it's supposed to..which is wake you up and play your iPod. As for the lights...there are 4 different levels you can change the lights to..Bright, Medium, Dim, and Off...the dim is really not all that bright, it doesn't hinder my sleep at all. Overall, this is a good, compact product.

The alarm worked great until after three days it broke. The volume got stuck on high and I tried to fix it but it just stayed the way. It was very easy to return so I can't complain that much.

I think the price is a little high for the product...It doesn't have a radio or remote (that is 15 bucks more). Plus if you want a dark room at night, don't get this product. There are side lights that you can't turn off unless you turn the clock light off too...Defeats the purpose of an alarm clock

This ihome is great; I don't know how you can give it such bad reviews. I have had this for over a year and have had absolutely no problems with it. I purchased this item because I wanted to be able to wake up to my ipod and get it charged and it does just what I want it to do. The side lights are no problem if you don't want a light then just turn it off. Compared to other ihomes this is a bargain. This is great for listening to music while you hang out with friends or do your homework. Recommended to everyone.

I purchased this item to be used at my desk so I could play music at work. The only positive I can say about it is that I like its compact design. Other than that I had serious issues with this product. First and most importantly, I had problems with the volume control of this product. Volume Level 0 was absolutely inaudible, but Level 1 was way too loud for an office environment. I guess this would be fine if I were using the product at home, but in an office environment, I need to be able to hear my iPod, but the neighboring cubicles do not. Secondly, I had some problems whenever I paused my iPod. When I would push play to restart the iPod, the sound would not transmit to the speaker. I had to take the iPod out of the dock and place it back in to get it to work again - kind of a nuisance.

So I loved this ipod alarm clock while it lasted. It fit perfectly on my desk at work but stopped working after 3 months of use. All it did was sit on my desk, nothing else. So there's really no reason for it to randomly stop working. Conveniently enough, the factory warranty is only 90 days long. Don't waste your $50.00. JBL brand is MUCH better.

It says it'll work with an iPod Touch. I purchased this to use as an alarm clock. When I plugged in the iPod, it would play the music, but when I turned off the iPod, it would make a loud clicking sound out of the speakers. I would have never been able to sleep with that kind of noise. I returned it. If you have an iPod Touch, I wouldn't buy this product.

I bought this about two months ago and i really like it. it is perfect for the size and playing your ipod's music on it. the size is great and being able to charge your ipod has been great also. i have no complaints on it so far. i think it has been worth [the money].If you want more to a ihome, remote control, fm/am radio other things, don't get this one.
