I purchased the fly fusion journal with the fly fusion (black edition) from target (i also highly reccomend the fly fusion!)

The journal comes with plenty of pages to last 1,2 years + depending on how often you write. The pages are lined and colored, and fun to write in. They have category boxes (ex. 'bored'. if you click on it, it will ask you a question like, "what would you rather be doing?", if you want another one, just click the box again for a different question. They are about 10 questions per box, and about 30 boxes, others are "family", "friends", "school", "crush", "jealous", "lucky", "excited", etc...
I really reccomend this journal, the questions are thought-provoking and unique. It's very interactive with you and a fun thing to do every day!!

My daughter purchased this and was excited about it and she immediately began encoding her diary. The problem is, when she went back to decode it, the pen said she had put it on a setting that she could not decode. She was mad because she did not have any idea of what she wrote in her diary. The ideas they give you to write about are fun. I do suggest you buy this, but make sure your child DOES NOT ENCODE THINGS IN HIGH-SECURITY OR THEY WILL NEVER KNOW WHAT IT SAYS.
