My son just loves the pre-loaded games on his Click Start Computer, so grandma bought him the Toy Story game and it pales in comparison.
You can choose to be Buzz, Woody or Jessie, then pick one of three locations, and then a difficulty level of 1 or 2. You have to "save" the aliens from Zurg, and it keeps a running total for you up in the corner, but we are up to over 250 aliens now and nothing else happens as far as they go. You never get to fight Zurg or do anything exciting. At the end of the level Zurg just takes off with a bucket of green soldiers who then escape (I guess???) and you have to jump up and "high-five" them as they parachute down. After that you start all over at the beginning where you choose the character, location and level. It's not really that fun and gets repetitive and boring rather quickly.
On top of that the educational portion of the game is a joke. It feels like an afterthought, something they just tossed in at the end so it could be labeled educational. The pre-loaded games are much MUCH better. And the animation is horrible and hard to look at. I'm not expecting actual Toy Story animation here, but I shouldn't be able to count the pixels either.
With the price and LeapFrog name we just expected a lot more from this game. To be honest I'm not sure we'll be giving any of the other Click Start games a try.

The games in this are not that artistically exciting, but my twins 3.5 years b/g love it and they actually learned to take turns after getting tired of fighting over it. I do not see the appeal, but it is a nice distraction after dinner. I would not consider this educational however. It does get kids used to using a mouse and a computer. The story lines are simple and non-violent. It is worth it if you are looking for a fun rainy day activity for a kid or if your little one is tired.
