Would like to rate it a negative October 22, 2008 Reviewer:  C. Jackson Real Name See all my reviews >

I bought two (pink and blue). Both leak. I thought this would be the greatest thing since is was BPA free and cold keep drinks cold. I like the sippy cup by the same company but my daughter has graduated to the straw types. It started leaking from day one. After washing it, I would spend 5 minutes trying to align the vent hole different ways to prevent leaking. It was also dropped from about 2 feet and the hinge broke. No way to fix that so basically it now has no lid. I have emailed the company with no response and don't plan on sitting on hold for 20 minutes like others have. I wish I could take it back. I am going back to Nalgene and Camelbak BPA free. Save your money.

Thermos Foogo 12 oz. July 16, 2009 Reviewer:  T. Fraze "Extremely happy mom" Real Name (St Pete Florida)  See all my reviews >

I bought 2 of these thermos bottles last year. I was extremely happy with the bottle. My son used one in 5th grade and loved the way his water stayed cold and the ice didn't melt. I also have one for myself and I also love it. It is double insulated so it doesn't sweat like other aluminum water bottles. I will purchase two more this year for my twins who are entering second grade!!!!!

Love it! December 10, 2008 Reviewer:  Kainoa's Mommy "Analisa" (San Diego, CA)  See all my reviews >

I have had this thermos for about 4 months now. My son has been using it since he was about 12 months old. It keeps beverages cold for hours. With ice in it the cubes have actually stayed whole for over 30 hours. It has never leaked on me. Just make sure to use a brush to clean in the soft part of the straw where the child drinks from and to dry it out when not in use! It will grow black mold. Love it!

Needs to be redesigned November 14, 2008 Reviewer:  Julie M "Mom of two" (Lincoln, NE)  See all my reviews >

I bought two of these for my kids. My daughter bit the straw off very easily. Thermos was nice enough to send a replacement at no cost to me. Another problem is the cheap plastic top and bottom. The first time my daughter dropped it the plastic cracked and is now dangerous. We had to tape it so she would not get cut. I have had good customer service with thermos but am not impressed with the product. The sippy cups, which have a rubber bottom instead of plastic, are much nicer. But I found ours a tiny bit challenging to get twisted on which isn't convenient for a busy mom.

I have 3 yr old twins who have used these cups for over a year and a half. We love them! My daughter bit off one of the straws so we got a replacement and they do leak if the lid is not shut so we've had to teach them to shut it after every use. But it keeps drinks cold for a long time and is really durable.

Not Good for a Younger Child-Can't Be Dropped July 31, 2009 Reviewer:  A. Park Real Name (rural Nevada, USA)  See all my reviews >

I purchased this for my 20 month old. She wasn't sure if she liked it at first, but decided it was fun to push the button to open the lid and it was also easy for her to close. About 3 weeks after purchase the Straw Bottle fell from my husband's pocket as he knelt down in the store. The 2 foot drop was too much and the lid cracked. He called customer service and ordered 2 replacement lids for [..]. Now, less than 2 months later, the first replacement lid is done. My daughter dropped it (maybe 1 foot) and the button was dented. It worked for a few weeks, but now is hard even for me to open. We are now on to lid #2. This has become a [..] water bottle for a 2 year old and we haven't quite had it 3 months! It keeps the beverage cold, but is not child friendly at all. I wish we hadn't made this purchase, now it seems more like an investment.

Used everyday by 1st grader and LOVED!!!! June 9, 2009 Reviewer:  Mom of 3 boys (Pennsylvania)  See all my reviews >

I picked up one of these before my son started school. He took milk with his lunch EVERYDAY, because I couldn't see spending a big price per day. (that is 180 days of abuse) If there is any milk left, it is still cold when he gets home. I never had leaks, but I do not run the bottle or top through the dishwasher. I DO run the straw through the dishwasher. I also got him the hot soup container. That worked really well also. He was able to take off the lid and put it back on without having leaks. I plan to purchase another for when my next son starts school in the fall.

Great cup for toddlers, keeps drinks cold for hours! June 1, 2009 Reviewer:  C. Salmon Real Name (Hawaii)  See all my reviews >

I have 4 of these cups- 2 older ones with the straw assembly in 3 pieces and the other 2 are the newer design with the straw assembly in 2 pieces. I have had these cups for well over a year and I still love them.

I have 3 kids ages from 18 months to 5 years, and even my youngest does fine with them. The button is easy for him to press, and he has learned to shut them when he is done. They do not leak if the top is snapped shut, but they will dribble if the top is open and they are held upside-down or laying on their side. This is no problem for the older kids, but I do have to watch my son with them.

I just had one of the cups break on me- the button broke off and the bottom detached, but one quick call to thermos and they are sending me a replacement and not even making me send the old one back. You should buy a few replacement straws when you get the cups because the cups themselves will definitely outlast the straws. You have to call thermos customer service to order replacements and they cost each.

These cups are well worth the slightly higher price than other cups. I live in a warm climate and was constantly having to dump out milk that had gotten warm, but these keep everything very cold. Highly satisfied!

I bought 2 of these for my daughters and have been very pleased with them. They keep the liquid cold for a very long time. I have not used it for anything hot yet. Very easy to clean, dishwasher safe.
