Beautiful but shoulder straps broke

I loved this bag while it held up. The pictures don't show the front of the bag, which has a really cute strap wrapping from the sides with a silver swivel d-ring type "buckle". It doesn't do anything except add some pizzaz. The storage inside is terrific, with great pockets to keep everything organized, and the whole bag zips shut to keep everything secure.
Unfortunately, I got only about 6 months of use out of it before the shoulder straps broke. I carry an older (aka heavier) a laptop, as well as a portfolio pad and often, several manila folders. My guess is that all together it probably weighs about 8 pounds. The trim on the bag is a brown leather-looking vinyl, and that's what the straps are covered in. The inside of the straps has a cord that is quite strong, but the vinyl split horizontally on the straps to show the interior cords. I can still carry stuff in the bag, but there is now a 5 inch gap on one of the straps where the cord shows through, and the other strap has a half-inch gap where it is now separating. Because of the size and color difference of the cords to the straps, it's very noticeable and looks junky.
If the stuff you carry doesn't weigh too much, it probably would hold up fine. I got mine on sale , and am glad I didn't pay full-price, since the straps broke after I could have returned it.

This bag is AWESOME! It is made of sofe suede and is very durable. I love the look. It is fashionable yet sophisticated. I especially love the moca interior! It is exactly what I was looking for a feminine bag that was of good quality but didn't look too bulky or "manly" like many of laptop bags do. It is very comfortable to carry and is the perfect size for my toshiba laptop and has enough room for my wireless mouse, power cords, pens, books, etc. without being too bulky or big. I would absolutely buy this bag again.

I like this tote. It has a soft suede and a white contrast stitching that makes it look very nice. The laptop sleeve is big enough for my Dell and I like the organization. Very stylish! Love it!

This bag looks very nice and professional. I feel confident when I carry it to work on a daily basis. It has a nice interior and a nice laptop holder that would accomodate my sony laptop. I couldn't ask for more.

I purchased this tote in brown and was very disappointed. It is not leather. It is not suede. It is 100% vinyl and microfiber.

I just got this bag and already love it! I'm impressed with how professional it looks, and my computer fits easily into it, even though I have an older model laptop.
The inner storage is fantastic. I fit everything I need quite easily into the bag and feel great carrying it with me to work. I very much recommend this bag if you're looking for a professional way to carry your items to and from the office.

This was a gift from my Husband and I love it because it fits my 17" laptop among many other things and I love the material, it can be dressed up or dressed down! I only gave it 4 stars though because I only use it on an occassional basis, not on a daily basis so I don't feel that I've fully tested this product. Another Reviewer mentioned that her straps broke and I can definitely see that happening if you have alot of stuff to carry on a daily basis. So keep your Receipt=)
