My daughter got the dog version of this diary for Christmas 2007. It never worked properly - you are supposed to be able to speak into the microphone to create a password and then it's supposed to open when you say the password and we must have tried for over an hour and it never worked. Also the "journal" they give you is literally about 3 inches wide and 3 inches long and only has about 6 pieces of paper so that's just plain ridiculous. A huge disappointment for the cost. I wrote to the company but they didn't help out at all.

My daughter received this toy as a gift and it never worked from the start...you have to speak clearly into the microphone and with short passwords and it may work...as said, the paper is insufficient and not enough stickers...really needs to be redone and more thought put in...definitely NOT worth the money!!!
