It has helped! October 24, 2007 Reviewer:  Kara J. Beckgerd Real Name (CA United States)  See all my reviews >

Alli gets a bad rep. But only because people do not read all the directions before it. If you do not stay within a certain amount of fat grams per meal, you get seriously bad side effects. You will spend a lot of time in the bathroom.

You will see a trend with reading reviews online about Alli. People talk about having gas and diarrhea. The only reason why they have those side effects is because they do not follow directions.

I have been on this pill for a little over a month now and have lost 25 pounds. I eat right, have cut out all junk food, and work out daily. I feel great and I don't have any side effects. I made sure I did my research before popping the first pill. Also there are many message boards out there along with Alli's website that gives great advice and support!

I highly recommend this!

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS & POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS July 6, 2007 Reviewer:  Jennifer in CT. "jen in ct" (Connecticut)  See all my reviews >

PLEASE before you start taking this, read all the side effects very carefully. I had a terrible side effect today and will not take another one. All the side effects talk about having diarrhea, gas, soft stools etc... I took one pill and within an hour, i felt like I had the flu. Could have been purely coincidence, but I felt great all day until I took the pill. My whole body hurt, I had a fever & chills and just wanted to sleep. I followed the directions, and took it 1/2 before lunch and only had a low fat turkey burger for lunch. Im not saying not to try this product, Im just relaying my experience.
Good Luck

worth it. March 6, 2009 Reviewer:  Raych "Rachel P" (Atlanta, GA.)  See all my reviews >

Okay so common sense tells us to read the side effects before you use, and ask other people who have used it what kind of things had happened to them while on it.

If you use it, be sure to get some pantyliners, because yes you basically [..] out the fat. which is in the form of grease. You could just be passing wind and yeah there is the possibility that you are going to have an accident.

As far as it working, it worked completely well. It helped me lose 40 pounds. I still have another 40 to go until I am completely happy, but it's definitely worth the money.

Works if you eat right.... April 25, 2009 Reviewer:  B_Liz_Haile (Sacramento, CA)  See all my reviews >

After reading the reviews below I see the biggest problem others have had are "accidents" when passing gas & bowel movements that may occur if you don't follow the diet guidlines provided, which is very important. Since using this product I have lost 20 lbs with no "accidents" because you cannot eat fatty greasy foods while taking alli which those foods are what causes us to gain weight anyway. So bottom line this product works great if you eat right, excercise & avoid those greasy foods.

becareful taking this. March 23, 2009 Reviewer:  mommy2alexab (Naples, florida)  See all my reviews >

I looked into taking alli, but after extensive time on the alli website i came to some information that stated not to take this if you have had a kidney stone, and there were some other medical issues listed as well.
upon calling my pharmacy the pharmacist wasn't even aware of the website stating not to take if you've had a kidney stone. so do your homework & be very cautious when taking this.

Side effects suck November 27, 2007 Reviewer:  Ruby See all my reviews >

I've tried everything to lose weight: more exercise, low-fat diet, etc. But I kept plateauing at a size 12... So I tried Alli. I kept up the exercise, weight training, stretching, low-fat diet, etc. But I got awful cramps and very runny and orange-looking stool. It got so bad that I felt like I was leaking (and surprise- I was!). After ruining a good pair of pants, I decided I'd rather be 20 lbs overweight than known as "poop girl."

Finally Something Works August 25, 2009 Reviewer:  M. Hanks Real Name (Ohio, USA)  See all my reviews >

Everyone is looking for a quick fix and I have to be honest this is not it. You have to work, and work hard. If you are use to eating greasy fattening foods this is not for you. Everyone who speaks about the side effects is not properly following the diet. I had issues the first week, but I quickly figured out what I could and could not eat. After that I have been fine and getting smaller everyday. After one month I lost 15 pounds and I feel like finally something works.
