My 2 year old son needed a new lamp and picked this one out. He just fell in love with it. It is very sturdy and well made. You can't beat the price. It's a good size lamp for lighting a room. The lamp shade has a lot of character with the embroidery. It is a must have for a transportation themed room. We actually just bought the bedding to match it, as we are in the process of updating his room to transportation. This is a very nice collection.

I made the mistake of ordering this lamp online... when I received it, there was literally no styrofoam or protective packaging material in the box (only a flat piece of foam for the base of the lamp to sit on). Therefore, the lampshade was punctured by the top of the base (where the lightbulb goes) during the delivery. I would suggest buying this in the store instead of online if you can.

My son just loves this lamp! He chose it in the store, and we bougnt it based on its sturdiness, cuteness, and price. It's working out great, and I plan to get more of the collection for him (sheets, throw pillow, window valance, etc). By the way, my "little" boy is 17, but at least in part because he has autism, he operates on a 3-7 year old level.

These "Hit the Road" style items are so cute. And this lamp is nice quality. The pull chain means my two year old can turn off his own light before going to bed. He really enjoys looking at the never-ending street that goes around and around the shade.

But seriously, we really do love it! It matches the circo hit the road toddler bed set we have, the bank, the valances.. AND i did a painting to match the lamp too! My son loves looking at it and saying "TRUCK! TRUCK!" He loves this lamp and it looks great in his room. I'm very happy!

This is a very cute lamp for a boy's room. I bought it to go with my son's Olive Kids' Trains, Planes and Trucks Comforter and it matches very well. He can turn it on and off himself with the little stop sign pull chain.
