I purchased the coffee table. I had alread purchased the side table. I was very pleased when I received it so quickly. I was worried about anything coming broke or scratched since this was the first time ordering online but it came perfect! It was so easy to put together my husband couldnt believe I was done so quickly. It looks great! I am very happy with it and would recommend it completly. It is true that the baskets can scratch the table (found that out with the end table I bought a year earlier). Easy fix, put felt pads on the bottom by the screws.

The coffee table itself looks nice, but the ridges on the top collect dust and crumbs and is very hard to clean. The table itself looks nice, but it does stain easily from cups. It is a pretty sturdy piece of furniture, and I have had no problems with the baskets as far as falling apart.

so, i didn't need the baskets, using them for other reasons, so i can't write based on the quality of the baskets, but the tables, wow. I absolutely love the look they have. the legs are real wood and are very sturdy. the black ridges on the tops add just enough to them for the elegant look. I am very happy with the way they turned out. i have all pieces..the coffee table end tables/and console. very very nice.

I just received this coffee table and 2 end tables. WOW, I am impressed! I looked at local places for this style with baskets underneath, and other prices were outrageous. Very good and sturdy construction, heavy, easy to put together. They are nicer, or better than anything you can buy in a furniture store. I may buy the console table now to complete the collection.

the table will scratch from thebaskets and they fall apart . i have had this table 3 yrs but the baskets fell apart after the first 6 months if you use them. the black is only painted on and will chip easily. i use it for tv stand. it will fit cable box and dvd player on shelf -i did use baskets for dvd's but they are junk . if you can get your own baskets do it

I've been waiting for months to get this coffee table. I was checking online daily for about 4 months and it finally became available. It was well worth the wait. I put the table together myself and it only took about 45 minutes. I love the way this table looks in my family room...nice quality and nice size baskets. I also covered up the nails on the bottom of the baskets immediately...don't want any scratches.

The table and baskets are even better looking than the pictures. Ebony wood, and no real variations in coloring, BUT the table top scratches very easily! Cups, cats or even candleholders have scratched my surface. Also, heed the advise of others and cover the nails at the bottom of the baskets, they will totally wreck the table otherwise.
