My daughter received S'mores for her first birthday! She loves this pony! It interacts with her and is super cute. It's also something she'll be playing with for a long time to come. I highly recommend S'mores or Butterscotch for any horse-crazy little girl! :)

This is a great little pony. My daughter loves playing with it. It is NOT made out of real fur as the person writing another review was wondering. It's just made out of a soft fabric-I am 110% positive about this! (Ewww!) Anyway, very cute. Kids love to ride on them, brush them,and feed them a carrot. My only thing is that it's costs A LOT of money - I only paid $300 for my daughter REAL shetland pony. However, if you live in town and having a real pony isn't an option this is a great alternative!

I bought Butterscotch for my daughter last year. I can count on one hand how many times she has played with it since then. It was bought for the "WOW" factor at Christmas but for $(at that time) it was hardly worth the price. Personally, I think it is creepy!!! When you open the box you have to put the head on so please open it and it put it together for your little one, don't just let them open the box. With all that aside, my daughter is almost 9 years old and she can sit on it and it holds her fine. It makes a trotting sound but it does not actually walk (thank goodness, or I probably wouldn't have bought the creepy thing). Basically it is an over-sized noisy stuffed animal.

This is the most fantastic gift I could have gave my daughter. She is 10 years old, and she cried when she received it. She talks to Smores,Hugs him, Saddles him (I bought her a saddle with stirrups, reins and a saddle blanket on Another retailer), Rides, Feeds and Puts him to bed. She plays with him non stop. He provides creativity,imagination, responsibility and above all friendship. It was definately worth the money spent!

I saved up my allowence for a year to buy this pony. we got it from [.] but i figured i'd write a review here. First, i was all gungho for two hours because i actually owned the thing. then i started to play with it. i first started to play with it at 4:15 pm. then when i was still playing with it at 7:oo pm (the same day), it went into galloping mode and, the thing screached whenever the head moved back. we contacted hasbro and said to ship just the head back. then, they said they'd sent us a whole new pony. so we did. Eight friggen weeks later the new pony arrived(could the shipping from hasbro take any longer?)but now the new one works great!

I knew this toy did not move before we bought it, but my it was ALL my daughter asked for from Santa and we did not want to see her upset. It is so responsive it is almost creepy, but I am very happy as far as responsiveness goes. The motor movements are loud, but she hasn't noticed and still loves to take care of and groom her horse. I just wish it would walk a few steps, even if when they are not sitting on it, so they could "walk" it, while walking beside it. I am glad I got a sale on it, because for any more $ I would have tried to talk her into asking Santa for something else.

My daughter received this pony for Christmas a Christmas present from Santa. She loves it. She loves to sit on the horse. She spends most of her time playing with the horse. This has some great sounds and the pony has taken a few falls sometimes but still recovered and nothing broken. Credits to whoever made this and thought of this.

this is the most awesome toy for any child who loves horses yet cant have a real one! the movements are quite realistic. the pony is solid yet not heavy. my daughter @ 7 loves this pony! i only wish this was around a few years ago when she asked Santa for a pony. even when she outgrows sitting on it... it is still a cute plaything. my only negative is that this was ordered online 5 days before Xmas... shipped from TX to LA... it should have arrived in time. but did not): it also did not have the giftcard from "Santa" attached.
