This is not for the faint of heart. If you like deep, targeted massage or have a problem area, this is a great option. It has a very strong massaging action.

If you like hard, deep massages then this is for you. It is not recommended for those that like gentle massages. You can position it on your neck, shoulders & various parts of your back but you have to move it to those areas. The heating element is a joke though since I can't even feel any heat even when it's directly on my skin. I would say it's as good as a regular spot massage but not a full deep tissue massage. But paying $40 for it & being able to use it whenever you want is so much better than paying $40 for a half hour massage once.

I got this as a Christmas gift and am eternally grateful :) It relieves all your tension in the neck and shoulders and you can move it around to hit different spots on your back. It really feels like someone is massaging your neck. I've had massagers before that just feel like a slight vibration but this really digs in. :) I highly recommend it. Be nice if it could have adjustable speeds but its fabulous. :) Enjoy!

My mom got one of these for Christmas, and it is unbelievable. The kneading action is really deep and consistent. It's so good that my mom, who's had tight layers of knots in her shoulders and upper back for at least a decade now, reacted like I've never seen. She didn't have to hold it up or anything because as soon as you put it where you want it, you relax right into it keeping it in place. She did not want to move. It's hard for her to feel any relief from tension with any other massage, and she would have to see a massage therapist several times to feel the loosening of her muscles. The pillow is doing the job of undoing her knots, and it's so good she doesn't have to pay someone to do it each time. My 88 yr-old grandmother used it one afternoon on her tight shoulder, and the next morning she noticed more mobility in that shoulder. GET IT. IT WORKS.

This pillow is incredibe!!!!!!! I have been having the most horendous shouder/neck pain for 2 months. I just bought this pillow yesterday, took it home and laid on it, and almost immediately, felt the pain subside. Keep in mind, this pillow is not for the "Faint". Its deep kneading action is intense!!! This morning when I woke up, no pain at all in my shoulder or neck. This is a trouble spot with me and I know I will continue to have problems with this area, but at least now, I can find relief with this incredible Shiatsu pillow! This is the next best thing to having your own personal message therapist. I would highly recommend this product!!!!!!!!!

I suffer from back problems and tight muscles and this little pillow delivers relief! It feels wonderful on my back and creates just enough heat to be comfortable. I like a deep massage and this a definitely a cheaper option :)

Ive been recommending this to everyone I work with, its awesome! It could get a little hotter but other than that I wouldnt change anything. Gives a nice deep massage that has really helped to loosen my super tight lower and upper back muscles.

Just make sure to only use it for 20 minutes, otherwise you will be sore for the next few days.

I purchased this for my new husband for Father's Day, but I could not wait to give it to him. He had surgery on his neck a couple of years ago. He was always complaining about the pain in his neck. When I stared looking for something to help him, I found this pillow. He loves this it, he uses it everynight before he goes to sleep. The intense pressure it gives really helps him, along with the heat. If I had to purchase this item again I would. He is always telling me thank you for the best pillow.
