THIS, by far, is the BEST thing we've gotten for our baby (#4 of 4 and our 2nd girl). She has been using this since birth really. She is 6 months now. The music, silly sounds, motion-activated feature and toys are wonderful. Most of the time I can grab this by the bars off the floor or against a wall in our home and plop it down and open it one-handed (which is great since baby is usally in my arms/on hip, etc.). Our little girl just gets so animated, bright-eyed, waving her arms, batting and grabbing the toys and kicking with delight like she's "Lord of the Dance". She's so fun to watch. The dragonfly is one of her favs as she likes to bite the bottom with teething. Everything is pretty, soft and washable and interchangeable. HOWEVER, if you wash the mat itslf, PLEASE hang or lay out to dry. I forgot to mention to hubby to do that and he put it in the dryer. The two mat items with flap-parts (I think butterfly wings and flower petals) are now closed in, but will work for playing "peek-a-boo" I guess! Also, check around. It is less expensive elsewhere. If you are military like us, AAFES has it online for $10 less.

My daughter is only a month old and she already loves this play mat! She loves to gaze at herself in the mirror and listen to the music cycle through. I think she's going to love it even more as she begins to interact with it. It's great for her to do tummy time, too! I love that all of the Bright Starts toys are easily interchanged and have purchased virtually every one I can find in pink along with the fun links. By the way, don't leave the mat in the dryer like I did or the dragonfly and flower shrink up into themselves... but she still loves it.

Other play mats did not make our little girl nearly as happy as this mat. She loves the toys and the motion activated sounds. The toys are at just the right position for her to reach. She is captivated by the mirror. Even at only two months it can entertain her for up to half an hour.

This is one of my babies favorite things. She loves the feel of the mat and will stare at the mirror for much longer than anything else. She likes to grab the large toy with chimes. There are so many toys included with this play mat. Our baby is only 1 month and will spend longer on here than anywhere else!

I was a little aprehensive of the price, but once my daughter played in it I found that this gym is worth every penny. My daughter is 11 weeks old and this gym can hold her attention for almost an hour, we love it soooo much.

I was not sure if the color scheme would stimulate my daughter as well as a brighter scheme. To my surprise She absolutely loves it.
The mat is easily cleaned and durable. The toys are adorable and she loves the soft rattles that hang from the happy flower. Cause and Effect would be the primary learning concept.
My daughter spends more time enchanted by this toy than I expected her too at 3 months of age.

My daughter is only 2 months, and she has loved this since I bought it! The toys are accessible, and the sounds keep her attention. She learned to roll over quickly while playing on this mat. She will lay and play until she wears herself out to sleep!

My 4 month old got this for Christmas and she really enjoys it. My daughter is a very needy baby, and likes to be held all of the time. This play gym has been a life savor when I want to do the dishes or fold some laundry, it's the one thing that entertains her! She loves to look in the mirror, and is so proud of herself when she grabs a toy.

I would recommend this to anyone!

This mat is a fun mat. My 4 motnh old loves it, however it everytime she kicks one of the arches, the thing folds up on her like a taco. Because of that, this mat is EXTREMELY un safe. I cant let her play on it unless I am watching her the entire time. When it folds, it covers her face. Please be careful and do not leave your child un attended on this mat.
