i bought this for my young niece. it was NOTHING like i expected. it didn't really even work. the picture us very decieving. it was very difficult to even see the rainbow. i returned it.

We actually got this for Christmas and LOVE it. I say "we" but actually my step son got it for Christmas from my brother, but we all love it. It is very pretty and relaxing and makes a good nightlight too. It automatically shuts off after 10 mins but has an AC adapter that you can purchase to use with it. I would not really call this a "toy" but it is pretty neat.

My daughter wanted this toy so badly, and we finally gave in and got it for her, for her birthday .. after all the OOOOHS and AHHHHS, and using it for two nights, it's now just under her bed .. I asked her why she doesn't use it at night .. and she said because it was "just okay" .. kinda boring .. not really what she thought it would be ...

We bought this rainbow maker 2 years ago when they first came out and my daughter was 4. She uses it every single night as her nightlight when she goes to bed. We even have to pack it for vacations.
The only con: It doesn't come with a power supply cord and eats through batteries in a few weeks. We bought a power supply at [..] for [price]. It was worth every penny. Even at [price], this is still an amazing toy that she probably won't grow out of for another 3 years. I'm on here buying this toy again for yet another friend, per my daughter's request.

I bought this for my son for his 4th birthday and just like the previous review, he uses it every night for his night light and we have to take it with us when we travel. I have nothing bad to say about this. My son LOVES it!!! I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves rainbows! :)
