Description
In the curious village of St. Mystere, townsfolk speak to each other in riddles, lock their doors with sliding puzzles and hide their secrets within brainteasers. When the wealthy Baron Augustus Reinhold passes away, his will reveals a hidden treasure in the village of St. Mystere. Unable to locate the treasure themselves, the baron's family calls upon renowned puzzle expert Professor Layton and his apprentice, Luke, for help. Upon the pair's arrival, their search for the treasure is interrupted by the suspicious death of another member of the Reinhold family. Now with two mysteries on their hands, Professor Layton and Luke must work their way through the village's many puzzles, riddles and brainteasers to find the truth.

Like the others have said, it isn't a game for young children because the puzzles can be complex. I love this game because it is challenging and very addictive. I can't go a full day without playing it. I highly recommend this game!!

This game is so much fun to play and actually takes a while to beat, so you definitely need patience to play. The main plot of the game is to solve a mystery by exploring the village in search of puzzles to solve, and also to discover clues by talking to the village people and sleuthing. This game is very addicting and once I started I found it hard to put down! The ending is a real surprise and cannot be expected. My little brother who is 10, found this game difficult and struggled with the puzzles. The game is very enjoyable!

This game is very challenging and took about 40 hours to complete. It was a lot of fun, but I would not recommend for younger children. Some of the games would take a long time to solve and others were quickies. It really just depends on what you enjoy, but this was an excellent game.

I love playing this game, some puzzles are easy and others are a lot more challenging. I like the layer of riddle that is wrapped in a mystery. It will keep your mind working trying to find clues and figuring out puzzles.

This game is a rare gem among DS titles. The story unfolds around solving puzzles and brain teasers, which range from simple logic to critical thinking and some mathematics. It gets confusing but the overall theme to the game fits well with the challenging concepts.

I truly enjoy the game. It has a lot of puzzles to it, and they are not in order, there kinda scrambled. You have to keep your eyes wondering all around so that you don't miss a clue or coins or even another puzzle. Very Enjoyable.

my 7 yr old daughter got this game for her birthday. After a few screen shots, the game no longer talks, you have to read. The games are very challenging. There is no way she can play this game. Good for 12 and up.
